Took an Omega watch to get repaired. The man in the story used a metal prying tool to take off the back to access the battery. He used so much force and failed a few times and scratched/dented the watch.This might sound stupid but I did not confront him at the time as I felt a lot of anxiety.After receiving the watch back about a week later, I noted that there were dents where they pried open the watch but all he did was agree and that was that.I saw with my eyes him denting the back when I first took the watch it, but only now receiving it did I notice the severity of the damage. I know that he caused the dents because this watch has never been taken in for repairs before.The watch costs a few thousand pounds. Happy to amend the review if Timpson deals with this issue they caused.

Superb customer service! Fast work and at a good price! Finding people who value their customers is increasingly hard to come by, I was very grateful for the generosity showed this week! Will definitely return again.

this watch never been used , the scratch all over my watch such a shame for this place , went there to change the battery , but the guy with a long hair he knows what is he doing , his a thief , yes get some gold from my watch u scam , my advice dont go to this place or they gonna damage your watches or anything with original, THIEVES

Took my watch for a new battery and some links removed to Birmingham New Street branch. Adam explained my options and was so helpful and professional. If I could give 10 stars I would.Thanks again Adam my watch is perfect.

Timpson is alway bad service every store this is second time I visited and my key not working, every time happen in only TIMPSON store well it’s very expensive almost 5 times rare to compare other key cut store. So guys don’t visit TIMPSON.

What an overpriced pile of junk. I had blue cycling shoes that needed new laces. Timpsons I thought. So when in the B'ham city centre I selected some blue laces, not priced of course. At the till early 5 quid. Really? But thought should be quality and I needed there and then. Broke 3 weeks later, the previous laces that came with the shoes lasted over 4 years. Never ever again will I trust this company. Today I bought 2 pairs of Kiwi (as in the polish) laces for £1,25 in Tesco. You tell me which is the best value. Appalling rip off merchants.

Got a couple of keys cut, the guy took less than a minute! Wow.

I visited Timpson in New Street in order to adjust the bracelet on my new watch and change the battery on my old one. Fast & friendly service. They’re complying with the government social distancing measures. Although I feel their services are overpriced. I definitely recommend this place.

The worst customer service received, got accused coming into the store to pick up someone elses handbag. Very argumentative, rude and a poor attitude. Lack of professionalism. A bit of common sense from the member of staff would of avoided this bad experience.
