Unison North West are doing great work! They've won pay rises for thousands of care workers and are fighting for healthcare workers and key workers across the region.

They won't t even answer the phone?? Why am I even paying my monthly subscription???

Useless. I whistle blew my employer and unison didn't give me any help at all. They should of been all over the situation and backing me. Don't waste money joining them.

Joining Unison was the best thing I have ever done! I got in contact with them and they have been helping us organise within my workplace which has been very empowering. I work in social care so it is a particularly difficult sector to tackle. However, the organisers and all the staff and members have been so supportive and have mentored and continue to mentor us throughout the process. I have learned so much and i really do feel like an important part of our Union. We just won a payrise for ALL commissioned adult social care staff across 6 out of 4 councils around Greater Manchester and we will not stop until we win it for everyone. Our Union has made me feel like real change is achievable through collectivism, support, focus and hard work.On top of being of great support to learn how to organise and win better terms and conditions for our colleagues, there are also many educational opportunities that come for FREE with your membership, from how to get the job you want, digital skills, political education etc.Unison are doing great work and being an active member is extremely rewarding. Massively helpful when I needed help with a flexi working request at work. Reps and branch all fantastic and approachable, even did an adult education course with them which UNISON paid for. Cant recommend enough.

Standing up for working people day in, day out. Joining a union was the best thing I ever did.

Losing faith in unison not fighting enough for the right for carers ,your not doing enough ,£10.11, young kids in macdonald get more than qualified carers ,the responsibility carers have is unreal come on £10.11 laughable.
