Great experience at the doctors this morning. Caroline on reception is always so helpful and friendly. She managed to get me an appointment pretty much immediately, She always makes me feel that nothing is too much trouble and is a credit to your surgery. 5*service.

Been here since a child and now 73 but impossible to get appointment, long queue then get cut off eventually get through but no appointments. Doctors don't come in till 8.30. One nurse and when she's off no appointments have to go to gotodoc for b12 injection a month late. Can't get past a receptionist that doesn't like us so can't get appointment if she's on and pretends she can't get on the system or cancels appointments so when you get there no appointment or books you in as no show. No use complaining to manager takes her side. Taking notes now and will report them to GMC.

Love the doctors and nurses here. Really personable and show genuine care, especially since they have a lot going on in these times

Phoned today at 8am for appt .Got cut off twice . Rang again picked up after 45min . Answered call. No appts and no phone call consultation. I usually don't see the Dr , only during winter . Absolute a joke . Not good practice at all . response from telephonist to ring at 8am .Failed completely . Secondly my Asthma review appt got cancelled twice .

Phoned today to get help after fighting with my mental state for some time, I don’t use the doctors often so when I do call it’s important. I explained I need help as my mental state is getting very scary but nothing, all I got was phone at 8 or come in. Please anyone who is finding mental health hard and has kids can only think of the one task in the morning and that’s get the kids to school, by then it to late to call. Anyway I’m sure the way I’m going I won’t ever need a doctor again. P.s my anxiety won’t let me walk through the door without an appointment.

Having been for a review with Claire Wright, the Nurse Practitioner, I want to say how impressed I was with the thorough and professional way in which she attended to me. She is very approachable and friendly in her manner and addressed any queries that I had, explaining things clearly in layman's terms.

If there were another option I would give 0. Long waiting to speak to someone. You have to be on deaths door before seeing a GP. If you phone up with infection the only appointment is in 2 weeks, by then you could be critical. Or wait outside at 8am in the cold. I wouldn't recommend this surgery to anyone. God forbide if a person has long term conditions your health will take a turn fir the worst.

Been at this practice all my life, and since covid I have really really struggled to not only get an appointment and infact have not had an appointment with one of their GPs for 2 years, have had to use the 7 day service (where i was prescribed the wrong meds that made me really sick). I just tried to call, was told i was in que position 7 then was cut off and now cannot get back through. That's a new one, normally i need to ring 80 times just to be told there are no appointments.Not fit for purpose, or has too many patients. Or both.

My review is based on my experience with this practice for more than ten years & it saddens me that I have nothing positive to say.The receptionists are rude, loud & patronising. Personal health questions are asked over the counter & made sure that it is heard in the furthest corner of the practice. These receptionists are under the impression that they are consultant doctors and hold the license to insult & shout at you there and than. They pay more attention to their wickedly long painted nails & miss matched face foundation than the patients genuinely seeking help.The GPs speak to you as they are in a fast forward mode and want to get rid of you as soon as you enter the room. You are made to feel like a burden and come out being more anxious and stressed.Recently I asked for a health questionnaire to be filled out by the GP for the Job purposes. It cost me £8 to get the form printed and handed over to the receptionist in person who said it can take up to four weeks to be completed. Six weeks down the line after several visits to the practice and numerous phone calls, I got a call from the practice that we do not fill out forms of this nature. Why was I not informed of it when I handed it over to the receptionist or every time I contacted the practice for an update?I wish I could give this practice a negative five rating. I hope someone responsible takes this review seriously and makes sincere effort to turn the place around.

Don't bother trying to get through. Start calling at 8AM - One minute they are experiencing a high number of calls, the next minute they are suddenly having IT issues. (This will go on for at least 1- 2 hours) IF by some miracle the phone starts to ring and is finally answered you are told you should have called at 8AM and they can not offer you anything!
