Steeple Leaze Farm
Very large, basic campsite with good views. Compost toilets in the field and flush in the farmyard. Lovely setting. Very quiet when I stayed the first weekend of the school holidays.

Fantastic place. Very friendly, with old school toilets and showers. Quite area. You can leave on the next day when you want, not like hotels, until 11am. Bbq not a problem. We had a dog with us off the lead,as other people had dogs and they were all friendly.

It’s dog friendly & you can have fire pits. But they sold us wet wood and the eco long drop toilets aren’t kept very clean & they don’t supply toilet roll. Very basic site and not clear where to put rubbish. However lots of space & nice views.

Came here to stay with friends for one night. The location is great and the fact you can have fires great- the letdown is the toilets and showers. I’ve been to a few campsites in my time and just feel this one is let down by the facilities- doesn’t feel clean at all. You never feel ultimately clean when camping anyway but the facilities here made the camping experience worse.

My 2 kids (14 & 10) and I stayed here for almost a full week.We love camping on nature campsites and as basic as can be. Just to enjoy the quiet and all that nature has to offer. We have them back home in the Netherlands, but we don’t have the beautiful scenery, with the hills and cliffs and the beautiful countryside. They didn’t even mind that their internet wasn’t working or that we had no electricity. We chose to stay at Steeple Leaze Farm, because it’s also a working farm, which my youngest wanted to explore. So she got the chance to go around the farm with Julian and she even got more determined to get her own land and animals someday.Thank you for showing her around and giving her this amazing experience.

This is a great campsite. No pre-bookings just turn up and pay when the farmhand comes around morning or night on his quad bike. All amenities you need with toilets and showers. Ample of space to camp with great walks across farmland and hills to local beaches. Stunning area, well worth a visit.

This place was so beautiful and a 10 minute. Walk to the sea it as showers, sinks and clean toilets. The people are well friendly. It is children friendly and dog friendly. I will recommend it to anyone who wants to go to the Jurassic coast.
