Lovely place. Has the real feeling of an old fashioned country store and tackle shop.Sally and Julie took very good care of me (thank you girls) whilst shopping for some clothing for my wedding and made me feel at home and valued.My wife, who accompanied me was in the middle of hat gate" but she found something she wanted to put in the mix. Returned a few days later as it didn't make the cut

Always a friendly smile from the staff especially Tim, good general knowledge and helpful advise in most aspects of fishing and shooting. A proper old fashioned feel to the place both Kettering and Northampton branches but with the tech for the modern sportsman. Not bad coffee either.

I am 84 deaf and just had a new hip fitted so l walked and heard with limp the staff were really great and treaded me with lots of help and patience,l WILL be going back next time l need anything,thankyou Gilders

Great array of fishing tackle and pellet bait and groundbait... Esp good is the smaller feeders that most other retailers start off at 15g or 20g but gilders do 10g feeders .... well done.

I absolutely love this shop. I have good experiences with this place everytime I shop there. It's small but don't let that fool you. The shop is full of many things from the floor to the ceiling. Staff are always warm and friendly and love to answer questions about all the various things they sell and they're respective hobbies/sports. Prices really are good for the quality of the stock they keep and they have good knowledge. Disabled access is tight but I believe they have a ramp if you ask.

Very knowledgable, friendly staff. They sell all manners of awesome items, at very reasonable prices. I bought a preowned air rifle in mint condition for a fraction of the cost of a new one, and was told I had a warranty if anything went wrong. Very happy with my purchase and the service. Would definitely reccomend! Thanks Gilders!

Great shop, staff helpful and friendly. Jordan gave some good advice on my purchase. Shop looks small from the front but opens up to wide range of goods. Will defginatly use again
