He has plenty of connections within the industry that helped me to explore quite a niche engagement ring request.On top of this Steve was very candid about what my budget could and couldn't afford, and gave me plenty of options without any pressure to push my budget or overcommit.I'll be returning for wedding bands

I have just bought a lovely ring from the Abbey Jewellers. We researched what we wanted and then went to have a chat with Steve. He was able to offer great advice and helped us design the ring. The service was prompt and professional and the price paid was much more reasonable than you would pay in a larger jewellers on a main high street. I would like to thank Steve for his help and I am delighted with the outcome. I would recommend the Abbey Jewellers - even if you do not see exactly what you want in the window, Steve will be able to help you out. I am pleased we were able to support a local jeweller on Tewkesbury High Street. Do not be fooled by the size of the shop - Steve can help you get what you want!

Having read a number of complimentary reviews of this particular business, I simply have to add that it is also important to note that it was obvious that however little one spends in this shop, there is no change in the attentiveness, friendliness and level of professionalism shown by the owner, quite unusual these days!

Great online experience.I ordered item during Christmas hols on the 27th, it was shipped by post during the next day, I received it perfectly packaged, by first post after new years day.All inquiries answered without hesitation. Easy As.

Great little jewelers, needed my engagement ring resized and was struggling to find a local jewelers that would resize a gold ring, good price and well done. Owner was lovely, great to chat to, will be coming back again

We came in twice this week and we purchased one of the most beautiful watches we have seen for the price. One that will last us a lifetime if we take care of it.The customer service was second to none I have to say, our sales representative was so friendly.The quality, price and all the advice couldn't be faulted. I would recommend it to anyone that was actually serious about looking for some quality jewelery.We will be back, and the seller was so helpful. He was clearly trying to help over make a profit and also knew what he was talking about.We couldn't have been happier.

Watch band adjustment, charged 9.50 despite damaging one of the removed links and destroying one of the pins also I believe scratched the crystal of the brand new watch.Was totally unapologetic and rude, avoid is advice.

If you want a friendly, helpful and positive local experience, DO NOT come here. Probably the most patronising and rude owner you could ever meet seemingly loving the minor power trip he has of you being in his shop. Importantly DO NOT sell anything to him as his dark art pricing technique without transparency has clearly been ripping people off for the 33 years he has traded. A very big disappointment in such a beautiful town.

Rip-off merchant. Incredibly rude owner with zero customer service skills. Selling large amounts of overpriced tat that wouldn't look out of place in the charity shop £1 bin. Offered an insultingly low price for gold, well below market value, then refused to tell us the weight of the piece we'd taken in. And when we asked how he arrived at the price, he refused to answer, and then told us to F*&K OFF" out of his shop! Will NEVER return."

Don't waste your time going to this unpleasant old ugly guy.
