A very interesting and picturesque area of Lerwick's old town. Well worth a stroll along to get an idea of how the historic herring fishing happened.

What a beautiful tranquil place. Weather was lovely and warm. The sound of the water lapping against the shoreline was very relaxing. Lerwick is such a lovely, welcoming place. Lots to see and do. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Easy to access walk form Lerwick front or town centre.Old buildings perched on the waterside, with clear water, and a great view to the neighbouring island.A gentle walk that can be incorporated into other nearby walks along the coast or into the centre of town
