I have a very good experience with the RBKC, especially housing department, Mr Everest, and his team. I had to make a few complaints (and it was a lot of work) that have been looked at two stages over several months and all were resolved, eventually, to my family's satisfaction. I wish everyone had the same motivation to create great experience for themselves and the public at large. There are mechanisms to resolving problems, use them confidently as civil cervants have no authority to make changes, they just follow the rules. They are restricted by the current policies that are against the resident's needs and limited with what they can do for us (residents) in the everchanging world. The council staff welcome complaints from the public if they are done correctly, positively and constructively. The more people complain about an issue the louder the social revolution sounds and the faster the change happens. If people push for change relentlessly, the rule of law prevails, change happens only when we persist. The council workers will not do the change for us as they are just executives of the laws as they are, even if these laws arent working/serving us. It is up to us to complain, push and persist, only that way the change happens. It is hard, that is why the public, residents must unite. If we sit quietly, harbouring resentments, change does not happen by itself. It only happens if we (the people, residents of the borough) ask for it, ring all bells, demand and do it correctly. The way to force a change with a government body, if they continue to disagree, is to research the legislation, primary and secondary, and if all fails, complain to Administrative Court.

The Council has an abusively strict mechanism of extracting income from parking offences. Even a minor error, such as stopping 5cm out of the parking bay is punished by £80 ticket (£40 if paid within 14 days). Any challenge will be dismissed until you take them to the Court. The people who work there and introduce this policy target the richest who live there and who do not even feel those £80. However, for people who visit the borough and who very often are salary paid people, such experience is like day light robbery from medieval times. They must be ashamed, but who gets ashamed nowadays??? Sad people.

I was wondering if someone can bring to the attention of the council, that those of us working on the front line in Earls court area, providing vital medical services to the residence, are finding it extremely difficult to use public transport, and having being told we must stay apart by 2 metres on the public transport, it is fast becoming an orderal just to get to work, and to stay safe and healthyCan we please ask the council to permit us to use the residence bays for parking, as most streets are empty for a short period of time say 3 months, until the emergency is over, maybe by issuing us a special permitBest Regards to all, and stay safe

What you have done about the Grenfell Tower fire. You should be ashamed of your council. There needs to be some serious dismally for the staff that ignored the warnings.

Refuse to empty large plastic garbage bin , insist on platic bags which the foxes tear apart and they then refuse to collect. This council is a pathetic fiefdom .

The RBKC council is world class in printing parking fines, ignoring emails regarding council tax errors and parking fine errors, printing threatening letters demanding more council tax, handing out road traffic fines, ... But weirdly they are hopeless at looking after the boroughs residents and actually doing anything for residents that is not revenue raising. Its basically become a non-for-profit organisation that goes purely all out for revenue raising and has completely forgotten that its actual purpose is to serve the residents of RBKC.A bunch of useless and arrogant pen pushers who treat residents with contempt and have zero accountability. How can this level of incompetence be tolerated in 21st century Britain? Things have gone very badly now, the UK government should step in and sack this pathetic lot and those found to be responsible for the terrible tower fire should go to prison for corporate manslaughter and should lose all their cushty job benefits.

Your neglect of duty of care, disgusting cost-cutting, bribing voters with tax rebates, sitting on nearly 200 million whilst making murderous cost cutting is criminal. A council is not a medieval lord.. You are not a council and I hope several of you will go to prison
