We visited for a city trip with the family in October and overall had a good time. Temperatures in the rooms were fine but would not stay in the summer due to no air con and the windows opening only a tiny amount. It’s not the quietest of places,- gaps under the door meant we heard every word spoken in the corridors and there’s quite a bit of traffic outside. The beds were comfy though and staff very friendly. We enjoyed having the option of eating at the hotel‘s Atrium bar. Breakfast had a lot of choice but a lot of it was of disappointingly poor quality, there were however a few gluten free options available. The location is a dream! The corridors and rooms could do with an update as others have pointed out,- it didn’t bother us too much but it also seems to depend on the room. We were on level 2 close to the elevators, facing the road.

I stayed for 3 nights at the President while my wife had brain surgery at the nearby National Hospital for Neurosurgery. The staff were beyond wonderful and the location was perfect. I had to cancel and rebook several times as news from the hospital changed but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Also breakfast was the best of hundreds of hotels where I have stayed. The only slight problem was the heating and ventilation in the room but it was immaculately clean and generously provided with towels etc. - hence only 4 stars there - but overall a superb stay and we will be back!! Thank you The President!!!

Nico and his staff at Atrium are the best thing at the hotel. Please stop in and see them. He is personable, attentive and runs a great a ship! Service is wonderful and the atmosphere inviting. The front desk needs to be able to connect you to the Atrium, the buffet, etc. however our stay so far has been lovely. The location is perfect near Russell St Station and if you haven't tried Fortitude Bakehouse nearby....yummmmy!

Very convenient location.Fire alarms went off at around 4:30 am resulting in evacuation and broken sleep. Staff did not manage the situation very well and were pretty invisible.Room was fine and nice and warm. The shower was powerful but failed to drain so I had to keep turning it off or down to avoid causing a flood.Mattress springs were quite noisy but bed wasn't too bad. Good smart TV allowing casting and access to usual accounts.

I don't know who would rate this hotel as clean. Absolutely horrible conditions start from as soon as you step out of the lift to walk your room. We trusted reviews on another website and booked it, but we will never go back again. We went to our room. It wasn't clean at all. The bathroom was horrible. The sink had hair in it. The coasters they used for glasses in the bathroom had stains on it. I lifted the bed sheet and found hair and stains. I couldn't stay in the room any longer. I asked them if they could change our room. She was so helpful and changed our room straight away, although I knew any other room wouldn’t be any better, but at least there were two bed sheets that were covering the mattress. I didn't dare to look underneath again.I think this is what you get for the price in central London that is understandable, but at least don't rate the hotel as clean! The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. This is the only positive side of the hotel. Apart from that, I had an absolutely horrible experience.

Fine. Service was a bit impersonally delivered but nothing to get upset about. Friendly ish. Room was nice, corridor looked like quite rough. Some doors were badly damaged, 1 looked like it had had a solid boot kicked into it, and they mostly looked old and worn. I was surprised at how nice the room was as I was expecting much worse having traversed the corridors. I suppose that's better than having great corridors and rough rooms. Location is pretty good. Breakfast was standard and was fine. Would stay here again despite the tired corridors.

I stayed here for three nights about two days ago. Upon getting back home, I noticed red welts on my legs that resemble bed bug bites. I will be calling management to discuss this further. All in all, this hotel is old and outdated. The first room we were placed in had a very musty stuffy smell with no AC to help with it. We were moved to a lower floor due to pointing this out and the new room was much better, still no AC but the bigger window in the new room helped with the heat. The location of the hotel was the best and possibly only good thing about it.If you stay here please beware of bed bugs as it seems they have them. The shower door became unhinged when I was showering, they fixed it. However when I told management that the nightly price seemed steep considering the state of the hotel and gave the shower door as an example he just said “yeah…I’m not surprised that happened.”We payed over $750 for three nights which did not include breakfast. We left with a various sights of rundown, old hallways/rooms, and red, itchy bites. I don’t recommend this place, the level of disrepair is truly alarming.

Such a great stay. The location is amazing, can walk everywhere. Clean room, everything you need. Breakfast has everything!! Huge plus of this stay is the team. They go behind their duties, super professional, helpful and kind. Will be back and will recommend to all friends staying in London

Stayed here for 2 nights and overall very happy with the hotel and its location. Cost approx £10 in a taxi from Euston Station and is just 5-10min walk to Russel St underground. The room was a good size and the bathroom was small but adequate. The shower cubicle was a very good size and the power shower was just great. Almost instant hot water. The only complaint we had were the pillows. For us, not good at all. They were quite lumpy as if they had been put in the wash. If you've ever washed your pillows in a machine, the filling is never the same. The bed was OK. The room was very clean and the staff very pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again.
