Standard Halifax bank until they put the open plan cashier desks which I really dislike it just doesn’t feel secure/private at all. On the other hand all of the staff are BRILLIANT so polite and hardworking. Always open on time likewise closing times.

Very poor customer service. I queued up to speak to a member of staff about changing my account type. Had all relevant documents and ID, then was advised to go online to get this done. Waste of my time. Staff seem unwilling to help in branch, strange when their jobs depend on in-branch visits. Glad I've moved most of my accounts to the Nationwide.

Went to Halifax on 06.07.2022 to sort my daughters ISA account as she just turned 18th. We have had a great experience from the start to the finish of our visit. The manager (didnt catch her name) and Anna helped us with everything we needed and updated her account with no issues. Very helpful, kind and professional staff. All the best to Anna in her future :) Lovely lady.

fantastic staff in the Wakefield branch just been in had lost my debit card they we're so helpful asked to speak to the manager just to say how good her staff we're told her that some times in life we are quick to judge but slow to praise

A usually quiet branch of Halifax, you can enter from either side of the building. All of the one-to-one meetings are held upstairs and there is a lift provided if required. There are several cashier positions so lines do tend to move fast. The disappointment is that the only banking you can do in here is with Halifax.

Called here last Saturday to sort something out unfortunately we had forgot to pick up our cards, so asked if we could make appointment for today (thursday). She told us to just call in about 10am today with all the our cards and I.D, and we would be able to sort it even if we have to wait a bit. Called today only to be told we couldn't be seen & needed appointment, so got to trail back again. Not impressed with staff giving out wrong information and messing people about.
