Hillgate Pharmacy

Never answer the phone! When you ring them sometimes the line is busy proving that they are clearly on a call which must be outgoing because if you then ring them back 2 minutes later the phone just rings out! Never got what you need in stock either!Why list your phone number if you never answer it? I am physically disabled with debilitating arthritis and the only way I can check if my prescription is in stock is to visit the shop because you don't answer the phone! Then when I arrive I find it's not in stock!

Staff are professional and friendly, no judgement on individuals for the type of to medication they receive which I've seen numerous times at other pharmacies. I would have liked to give 5 stars but can't because they are the worst business to try and contact by phone...I MEAN ITS IMPOSSIBLE MOST DAYS...it just rings then goes to fax screeching then can't phone back for 5 minutes until the fax has stopped...and when it's something important about medication I believe you should be picking up that phone. I totally understand it gets busy sometimes but not only have I been the one phoning I've also been in the chemist..JUST MYSELF..and to he phone has just been left ringing and I often thought about the person phoning and how important it could be!!...it may only be the 1 downfall I can think of...BUT...ITS ONE MASSIVE DOWNFALL FOR ME.

Closed early unable to get emergency prescription appalling service.

Advertised as being open from 7am, I arrived at 8.30am and its all locked up. Very frustrating as I drove a fair way to get here.

Poor. Fobed off could not get medication I ordered week earlier from the supplier. Gave me a prescription for the items owing to me and I went to a large pharmacy that dispensed all items I needed. Well I suppose trying to run a pharmacy within a broom cupboard generates problems!IN reply to your comments below, I am not sure what I should thank you for?? You basically informed me some speal that you were too busy, could not source my repeat medication and was really not bothered I was out of Insulin not your fault, problem and didn't want to help me source or check if other chemist /Pharmacists might have stock. Your pharmacy must be a Guiness Record as the worlds smallest, like Doctor who's Tardis and incapable of carrying stock Items. Time for a rethink!!!

Phoned Thursday and promised delivery of urgent meds(I'm disabled and housebound) for Tuesday. Delivery not made so contact them again and told Friday delivery. 8 days is not good enough.

Shocked at all the bad reviews as I've never had an issue. Medication dispensed quickly once prescription sent over, anything owed has always been given, assisted with emergency supply of meds whenever ran out and is open until late daily! Mornings can be hit and miss as to opening times being incorrect online but I can't complain when open later than nearly all the other local pharmacy's.

Not open on time as I was there 8.07 and it was still closed. Also medication I needed normally costs around £10 however over there was £15!

I believe Higher Hillgate Pharmacy is the best pharmacy I have ever had the privilege to be dispensed by. The whole team has been so amazing. They are professional and kind and go above and beyond. Thank you to each and every one of those beautiful souls.
