Came for dinner and drinks and it was amazing. We had the lamb shank, steak pie and burger between us and all were delicious!! Lamb shank was the best I’ve had in years!! Great service and very well priced. Will be back next time we are in the area.

I just used the bar - didn't stay here but if the bar is anything to go by I would recommend it. Friendly staff, lovely bar, decent prices. Nice garden with plenty of seats.

Lovely hotel and pub. We went just for food and ate in the bar. We had a homemade pie and chilli. Nice hearty warming dishes. Big portions.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful, I was travelling alone, but I really felt at home, the rooms were clean and comfortable, although some furniture could do with replacing. The food was excellent, Thank you x

Friendly welcome, lovely setting and good food. Great choice for breakfast and nice beer garden when the sun is out. Bedrooms need a bit of updating but on the whole a good place to stay.

I have been to the bar here several times for food and company. The log burner sets it all off a treat, and the atmosphere is friendly. Food and service is excellent. This is the first time I have stayed in the hotel and the location is excellent. I accidentally left my phone charger behind and the owner very kindly arranged to post it back to me. Thank you for going the extra mile!

We had a warm welcome here..great atmosphere and yummy food..Such nice staff and very dog friendly..we loved it so much we went back again..best place that we visited all week..Recommended.

Lovely spot for a family meal.. best back of house staff too. Wonderful dishie! Young person was so kind and helpful. Definitely recommend.
