Bernwode Fruit Trees
Excellent knowledge of plants and trees. They were able to graft the pear tree in our garden making several trees we have given away to friends and family.To an earlier comment these are plants people and not sales people. We have found them really friendly if you are asking about plants.We would highly recommend this place especially during these though times.

This is the best place to come if you're looking for old varieties of fruit trees. It was such a delight to meet Derek and Judy who are experts in their field with a passion for what they do. They stock and enormous variety of trees, gave us great advice and generously shared their knowledge and enthusiasm. We will be back for another look around soon. Thank you xxx

Bernwode Fruit Trees
I visited Bernwode nursery today, they are friendly people and extremely helpfull and knowledgable on fruit trees and their cultivation. I think apart from Brogdale, this nursery has the widest variety of apples for sale in the UK, literally hundreds of fascinating old varieties, all pot grown and ready to plant year-round. Highly reccomend this place, 5 stars with no hesitation

This is the best place to purchase fruit trees. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. They offered us some great advice about suitable trees for growing in large containers.I am sure we will be back soon!

An incredible array of rare and historic fruit trees nurtured by people who care about them and their future existence. Their catalogue is a reminder of what could have been lost but thankfully hasn't. Plant some of them instead of the commercially produced ones from garden centres, they are well worth the effort.

Wonderfully helpful people, with a plethora of knowledge of the fruit they grow, and not afraid to share that knowledge.And they have a selection of fruit trees second to none.I've not visited the actual nursery but I ordered some trees and after a lengthy exchange of emails which I can't imagine most Nurseries would even bother to do, I managed to get the varieties I wanted.Thank you Derek and Judy for a really good experience.

Bernwode Fruit Trees
Very frosty reception. Almost rude, so much so that I almost left immediately. They seemed reluctant to help or talk. I bought two pear trees from them & in response they complained to me about how little money they make, instantly making me regret going back on my first decision to leave. My relative went there to ask about trees and again found them unhelpful. So based on that limited experience I think a two star review is as good as I can muster. Disappointing as I’d chosen them as I wanted to support an independent business.

I have just collected 23 different apple trees from Bernwode and am extremely grateful for the patience and help given by Judy and Derek. The work they do is a labour of love. True plants men, not salesmen. Thank you both.

What a magical tree nursery, the owners were so very helpful and generous to us with their time and helped to answer the dozens of questions I had. We’ve had such fun reading through their catalogue too which is more akin to a key. We are looking forward to planting the trees in September and will be back for more.

The woman was very rude and unhelpful and sold me exactly the tree I didn't want. Now I'm stuck with it.
