I been there as i saw on Google as it is the one of the biggest fish stockers.. how ever Temporarily the shop is in a small place. After the Fire the main building is under construction.Secondly the price seems to be high..6 guppies for £16.6 platies for £18.Small clown loach £22..

Very welcoming and kind staff. I bought fish for the outside, even a flower, a water lily which is gorgeous and lasted over two winters.

Pretty much ok, limited stock until the rebuild is completed, nice stock of some unusual fish, but genuinely both occasions the staff have been excellent and approachable.

Wonderful place. Incredible selection of aquarium, fish, decorations, coral, plants - everything that you need to start up or enhance your love of fish. Staff are incredibly knowledgable and took us (complete beginners) through all the options, what is needed, how to start things off in the best way etc. Showed a genuine passion for what they do and a desire to keep customers coming back by making great initial choices. Lots of options for every pocket and size options. Dazzling array of colorful fish that kids and grown ups will love. We even found Nemo!!

What an amazing variety of aquamarine life and goodies! The best ever! They have super healthy fish and exotic animals the cleanest tanks I have ever seen and prices that will shock you! An amazing setup and any fish lovers dream!

One of the best shops a bit pricey but they know there stuff also there always so kind an willing to talk to anyone about all things fish I'm autistic an these guys have not just been friends but mentors in my short 8 years of the fish hobby also a credit to themselves in terms of the wide array of fish an stock even willing to go out on a limb an specialist order the fish I require to the store what fantastic staff an people I'd not shop anywhere else also if Ur looking for good quality fish feed these are you're guys for the job some of the best quality goldfish an tropical products

Perfect example of great customer service, I purchased a pond pump here about 2.5 years ago and debated at the time whether to spend the extra money buying it here vs an online retailer, my wife actually convinced me that I should buy from these guys in case something happened with the pump and that it'll be much nicer to speak to someone face to face locally and support a local business and I'm glad I did.Fast forward to today, after my pond pump started acting erratically I called up the shop who advised to bring it in. Once at the shop Sam? (Young lady sorry if I got your name wrong) dealt with my issue, tested the pump and confirmed it's not working as it should and that it's still under warranty. They didn't have the pump in stock in the shop but Sam called around to their other store who did have one, not only did they arrange a replacement for me they sent me home and arranged for someone to drop it by the house later on in the day rather than me having to come back to the shop.Having purchased the pump here I would have no qualms about purchasing everything else I need going forward from here rather than an online retailer. Yes it might not be the cheapest (although I remember them price matching to other aquarium suppliers) but having that face to face contact and small business mentality has been priceless on this occasion. I hope people read this and give these guys a chance as I can't recommend them enough.

I went to Hobby Fish for the first time today.Very happy with the service I received from the older man. Very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions I had.I’m new to the fish game and was getting my very first fish and he helped to explain what was best to start with.Will definitely be returning even though it’s a 40 minute drive from home.Thanks Hobby Fish and see you again very soon for my next fish for the tank.
