Baker Street Dry Cleaners and Tailors

I've talked many dry cleaners to get my prada skirt cleaned but most of them refused it. They even offered me to remove the leather belt and stitch it back but ofcourse i said no. Untill i came baker street dry cleaners and tailors i didnt know how to clean it myself. But they did a great job. All the stains are gone very well cleaned and ironed. And very well mantained of the leather part. Highly recommended. Great service!!!!

I would highly recommend! At the beginning me and the dry cleaners believed that the coat and skirt were suede leather with real fur collar and agreed for the price to be 125 pounds for both. As soon as the dry cleaners realised that the fabric was not suede leather but with a fur collar they have reduced the price of the service at 65. Great service and friendly environment.

Hopefully this review is helpful to someone else in search of a cleaner willing to clean St John By Marie Gray items.I am based in Derbyshire, and have tried every Dry Cleaners within a 50 mile radius and not one of them would touch the garments due to the delicate nature of the fabric and rhinestone embellishmentsThis prompted me to try dry cleaners much further afield, I stumbled upon this cleaners in my search and decided to contact them based on the incredible reviews they already had and I’m so pleased I didI spoke to Jamil on the phone and then sent photos of the items I needed to be cleaned and was reassured that they are more than happy to clean the garments.Due to me living over 120 miles away I was unable to visit in person, but they were more than happy to except my items by post which made the process extremely easy.I was kept informed throughout the process and they also made a repair to one of the items that I sent in for a very small fee. I was sent photos of the items after cleaning before they were repackaged for returning to me and they looked amazingThey were well packaged in acid free paper and beautifully folded so that none of the items had any creases when they arrived back to me, and they looked brand new every mark was fully removedI cannot thank Baker Street Dry cleaners and Tailors enough for all of their help with my Garments and I will not hesitate to use them again in the future !! I hope my review can help future brides to find a dry cleaner in London for their wedding dress.After our wedding, my dress was quite dirty, mostly at the bottom and on the train as it collected dust, pollution and dirt from the sidewalks near Tower Bridge. My dress was 100% polyester but one layer was all lace which made it very fragile and delicate.I had NO IDEA what dry cleaner to pick as most reviews were 50% bad and 50%good and I really didn't want to take the chance to end up within the wrong 50%. Unfortunately, I couldn't find much recommendations online for wedding dresses specifically.After reading all the reviews, I decided to try and come to Baker street dry cleaners. I told myself if I didn't like the vibe, I could always go home and look somewhere else.When we arrived, Jamil was very helpful. He looked at the dress and explained everything to me. He also wasn't pushy which made me more at ease. I explained the dress could NOT be cleaned with Perchloroethylene and he said that was no problem.The quote was one of the cheapest I found and the dress would be ready in two weeks.I am so happy I trusted them with such a sentimental piece of clothing. It was so hard to decide what dry cleaner to choose but they didn't disappoint.They managed to clean all the lace, all the stains and the dress is like brand new now. Jamil did mention they had to order a more gentle product and that the lace was challenging to clean (I have no doubt it was!!). And the dress is now spotless.I tried it at home again and it hasn't shrunk or anything. It's like brand new! Jamil also gave me a bunch of acid free paper to protect the dress (I recommend taking it out of the plastic and storing it in a special cover.). Thank you!

Brilliant place, I took in a very rare Gucci coat that I get anxious about getting cleaned and they handled it with great care and had it cleaned in 48 hours. They really care about their work and were very kind even when I was very anxious about leaving it there. Really lovely people and will be my first choice for my treasured pieces when I’m in London

Brought two designer down-filled winter coats that had stains on them and Khan and his team did such an incredible job. Stains are gone and the coats were packaged carefully with acid free paper and proper coat hangers. I cannot recommend them enough and will be using them from now on.

I have a white tuxedo jacket that I bought secondhand. I’ve worn it to many festivals, and it showed! Following an unexpected and short notice invitation to a black tie do, I dropped it off with these incredibly capable dry cleaners. I am gobsmacked with the results, not a stain on it, shining like a National guitar (in the words of Paul Simon). Very highly recommended.

# bestdrycleanersI cannot express how DELIGHTED I was when Jamil (a true superstar) went to extreme lengths to remove every single wine stain from my dress. I had bought it from Harrods and received many compliments at an event in the city. After that, a friend knocked wine all over it at dinner and I was DEVASTATED. I poured soda water over it in the restaurant, upon recommendation of the staff, got home and put salt on it and nothing seemed to work. I showed it to Jamil who said he would try his best but that the salt may have locked in the stain. I had written it off! But Jamil cleaned it four times, even ordering special chemicals for it and diligently persisted sending me photos and updates regularly. I cannot even begin to express just how THRILLED and grateful I was. I will never go to another dry cleaner again! Please if you get any stain don’t touch it!
