Children 1st Mediation

The most unprofessional company I've ever delt with. They send sensitive and very important information via text and assume that the customer has received it without any confirmation. Their emails go straight into junkmail inboxes then they blame you for not receiving them. They never phone to confirm appointment times, they double book and cancel appointments at the last minute. It's incredibly important that they improve their methods of communications as family's rely on their service. When complaining they do not listen or take on board any recommendations to help stop mishaps from occurring again and Mabel is rude, arrogate and talks over you. For a service that supposedly puts children 1st they couldn't be further from the truth. Money and ego first and if you should dare have a problem expect to be talked over and all responsibility for their poor communications ignored. Avoid this company at all costs and be wary of positive possibly fake reviews. Our new mediators are miles above this one, unfortunately we first went to children1stmediation and wasted valuable time. Do not make the same mistake.Reply - Mabel if you don't see what you could of done differently then please please seek some kind of customer relations course. For starters -1. You double book appointments.2. Your email server gets identified as spam.3. You only text customers important meeting times with NO phone call to confirm and so you heavily rely on that customers signal/mobile phone.4. You interrupt and talk over people.It's simple. Phone and confirm times!!! You're failure to take any blame and your reliance on customers to search out the meeting times for themselves when you double book and swap and change appointments around has really messed me about and it is mostly your fault that I am weeks behind in finding a resolution.I'll also add that it took you more than a week after our initial meeting for you to contact my ex-partner to arrange anything??? When phoning to ask if you had arranged anything I was simply told that you were busy with other meetings most likely wouldn't contact her anytime that week and that I wouldn't be informed if contact with my ex-partner has been made and that I must simply wait. I found you all in that company to be rude and arrogate. Advise anyone to stay clear. You said that you've had over 3,000 customers and that I was the first to have any kind of problem but obviously from your reviews this is not the case.

I have spent 30000 solicitors fees I only hoped my ex had accepted Mediation earlier. In one meeting after 1 year the mediator Mabel was amazing, fantastic her patience, her wisdom and skills got me contact with my children who are my life. She was honest and truthful and told both of us stop blaming and move forward. All I wanted was same amount of time with most precious thing on this planet our children. Please we need to end conflict and this mediation is the way forward for all problems. Do not waste your money in court.

Reaching out to Children’s 1st Mediation was the first real breath of fresh air i had in my life during a time i was at rock bottom.After a break up and without tons of cash to pay a solicitor, I thought I might never see my children grow up. I didn’t want to be the Dad that meets his children at 15 or 18 years old and has explain to them i had no choice.If I hadn’t gone to Children’s 1st Mediation and without the careful and attentive support that I and my family received, we would never have gotten to where we are today.The mediation sessions were first class and delivered by a professional with outstanding morals, a true focus on the children and Strictly im-partial throughout.I am utterly grateful for the service.

Great service Mabel was really helpful and looked at everything from both sides ensuring everything we agreed was fair and what was best for our children and us.

Mabel is very experienced and a meeting with her is incredibly hepful and reassuring. Just knowing that you are not alone with your concerns is very helful and that generally a pathway to solving family problems can be found.

Although my experience of this company was afew years ago it still haunts me. I walked out in tears. After leaving a domestic abuse marriage where me and my children had both come to harm in every way. We had to try medication before court proceedings.I was treated so badly by Mabel. Who was so rude and spoke to me in such a horrible way I left in tears.Being told I needed to do handovers with my children to their father after abuse and police involvement and when saying I didn’t feel comfortable with this I was told I was making things awkward and difficult and how I was the problem.My ex was a risk to my children.I walked out of mediation and never returned.Once attending court my ex partner was granted no contact! Which shows I was right to feel the way I did and how Mabel was wrong to push me into something that wasn’t safe for me or my children.I feel she’s in the wrong job and she’s no mediator. She takes sides and pushes people to do things that are not safe! I will never use this company again and would never recommend to anyone either!

Thanks so much to Mabel, the financial mediation process was excellent. I was dreading having to go through this with my soon to be ex husband to sort out our finances, but Mabel guided us through expertly and impartially. I can highly recommend using this service, as not only is it very professional, but they are very flexible around work comittments you have etc and can hold meetings on face time or zoom.

At first I was dubious, I met Mabel and didn't like her for her straight to the point facts that made me feel awful. But by the end of the session I had calmed down and was listening to what she had to say and it was what was the best interest of my children. On my 3rd session it was safe to say Mabel had tamed the savage beast and I could be in the same room as my children's father for the 1st time in nearly 10 years AND we managed to come to an agreement to suit both us and the children. Massive thankyou to Mabel for taking the time on me when any other mediator would have just thrown me out, you really are a God send and now my kids lead a happier life with both parents who can be amicable.
