Not been here before until yesterday when I popped in with a brake issue on my old 600 srad. They diagnosed the problem quickly, reassured me that I wasn't going to die (as I needed to get to Chelmsford and back that evening), and I'm booked in to get it sorted properly in a couple of weeks. Good range of bike bits and clothing as it seemed while I was having a nose around.

From the first meeting with Diane the sales lady until the bike was delivered the sevice I received was brilliant and the cb1100 Honda is fantastic

When no other motorcycle shop in the Ipswich area could fit me in for an emergancy rear tyre replacement Hythe Hill motorxycles and Chris did and with any fuss despite being mid Saturday afternoon when already busyAll there were Helpful cheerfull and friendly im very much apprecitative

I will be short:My bike has been standing for over 6 months to have its gearbox changed.We had agreed on up to £ 1000,paid £1280 + £ 50 transport to Ipswich.(that was 2 years ago)This year, from January to April, my alternator was replaced for 3 months.There were not many problems with payment.The bike was very dirty, they didn't wash it at all.I repeat:I can show a lot of details and photos that they sent me personally.I made two mistakes, I will not make a third.I am not satisfied and I doubt the quality.They lost the sheet on which Chris wrote down what he had to do and how much money it would cost.Absolutely frivolous attitude,One piece of advice from me for you Chris:Don't take a job that you personally can't do!

Went in on the hunt for a first big boy bike for me. Was blown away with all the advice and answers to my questions and in all honesty I was disappointed to have not been able settle on one of their bikes to buy. It would have been good to complete a purchase in someway recognition of their help.Nevertheless i thought I would write a review to recommend them to others. Their personalised, no pressure and honest approach to sales no doubt serves them well and certainly worthy of recommendation and commendation.

I've been using these guys for a good few years now, and never got around to doing a review! Proper old skool shop, very friendly crew Norm, Diane, Chris and Johnny, never any pressure, always a good selection of bikes, always happy to do a deal, top service and highly recommend them. What's the point in writing a review if you've only bought your bike from Hythe Hill Motorcycles a week ago? I bought my Harley 1200 Sportster over a year ago. In all that time, the bike only required the carburetor adjusting (early on) the one time. I chose to change the battery too. The bike has been fine, is still fine and I found the staff at Hythe Hill Motorcycles fine also. No complaints. A decent buy and I would buy there again. Thanks.
