Cake Craft Shop

This is an excellent shop. The decorations are all carefully chosen. What sets it apart is the staff. They are knowledgeable and practical. They really know their stuff. I once bought an Elsa cake topper here that even made tiny footprints on the icing. Amazing!

I have read some of the posts regarding staff attitude, one in particular thought it was due to her race, but I too have experienced this feeling. I am of Caucasian origin and when I have shopped in Bromley branch it happened to me, its as if they have their regular locals and your not in their gang. I have some knowledge of baking and decorating yet when I looked for advice was made to feel terrible and silly. I do feel there is a bit of a click in their so I only shop online with them rather than face that again

love your little shop, I had always went there for many years ago. I understandably it's difficult for staff to service busy customs. Myself deaf and experienced baker, I had been waiting for one of staff to service me, I do felt left out & think one of staff could be ignore me after long time to wait for service by staff. It would be nice if all staff get variety awareness training e.g deaf, disability, race, etc would be great helpful. I will come back and hopeful one of staff would service me this August.

Discovered this place today, after a Google search and what a gem! My husband bakes and was in need of supplies, we went there and what delightful surprise. The ladies are so welcoming and so helpful, I highly recommend a visit if you are a keen Baker. It is absolute heaven with all tye accessoires you can think of. We will now be going there, so much better than certain big chains of shops that are all about profit. I would much rather spend my money with these lovely ladies.

Just called into this shop for the second time ever. Arrived at 4.35pm on a Saturday and was just about to pay when another customer walked through the door. The lady, presumably owner, with grey hair said loudly to her colleague 'We're open all day, people coming in at last minute make my blood boil'. Made me feel uncomfortable as one of your customers! You advertise that you are open until 5pm and should be grateful for your customers!

I was a bit hesitant about visiting this shop because of some of the things people had written here but figured with so many more good than bad reviews it would probably be ok and I wasn't disappointed - they were brilliant with me! I'm a novice baker and both the ladies in the shop today were really encouraging and supportive and pointed me in all the right directions. Best thing is they didn't make me buy stuff I didn't need (I've double checked this with someone who actually knows about baking) which I was a bit worried about. I think this is a great little place and I hope that you give them a chance like me because they are awesome. Thank you Cake Craft Shop!

I needed to decorate a personal cake for an important occasion and hadn't a clue what I was doing. The lovely ladies were so helpful. I took ages, humming and hawing and getting their ideas, and they were enthusiastic and full of humour and good advice, and didn't hurry me or oversell. This shop has such a treasure trove of things I didn't even know existed, and so many options for the basics too. Well worth the trip.

This shop has everything a cake baker needs and the staff are very helpful with advice for beginners Even for non bakers they have such a wide variety of ribbons and decorations you can make a plain bought cake into something individual and beautiful Highly recommend a visit

Very helpful staff, well stocked cake and bakery goods shop! I came to run an errand for a friend, and the shop had everything on my list, and the staff were very helpful, even checking with their warehouse for goods on the list! 10/10 would go back

This shop is amazing! The staff are not only professional and go out of their way to help you in every way, but also friendly and genuine. It’s a little treasure chest of everything possible you could need for that perfect cake! Great prices too! A huge thanks to Rita & Sue :) Highly recommended!
