We are extremely happy with how caring and friendly everyone is and so far have taken such great care of our dogs. We are so happy that we changed from our previous vets to this one.

Took our dog down there last week with a bad ear, vet couldn’t see or get anything out so the dog was sedated. Went back to be told it was matted hair and a ear infection was given antibiotics, £220 later bit steep but thats vets like to rip you off any way antibiotics finished, still have the same problem rang back, and the vet refused to see us unless we pay a consultation agin £30 for so something he has all ready diagnosed but clearly diagnosed wrongly, surely a normal human being would think I might have diagnosed that wrong i better have another look for free as i have all ready over charged them. Absolute disgrace only in it for the money

We found the staff very professional and friendly. We felt that they all had our dogs best interests at heart and showed great compassion with her.

We joined The Veterinary Centre based on its great review score. In two months we were: • Overcharged on an unnecessary medical procedure that we were not told about.• Given completely inconsistent and sometimes contradictory advice about how to treat our kitten's diarrhoea.• Sold different cures and ideas, seemingly randomly, none of which worked and all were a cost.• Told by our vet that it wasn't concerning that our kitten was half its recommended weight.• Told by our vet that he didn't need to see photographs of the cat's bilious vomit and diarrhea (which, we later discovered, showed telltale signs of the cat's actual, then-undiagnosed condition).• Given dog food.After two very expensive and frustrating months, we took the kitten to Attimore Hospital where he was diagnosed and cured immediately.Eventually I wrote a letter of complaint to The Veterinary Centre. After a month I wrote to its head office, explaining that they never got back to me. They apologized and said they'd get back to me. They still haven't. For all there is to say about the practice itself, I really haven't before encountered a business that doesn'tn't respond to formal complaints.

I hate leaving poor reviews but this practice has really gone downhill since Medivet took over. They never seem to have a vet available or answer the phone. They cancelled my dogs spay operation 4 days before it was due to happen and because we couldn’t do an alternative they offered they said I had to call other vets to see if I could get her booked in elsewhere, which didn’t really feel like my job. They also mixed up my 2 dog’s medication and didn’t notice which is quite dangerous! Thankfully they’re similar in size so it wasn’t too much of a big deal but could’ve been a bigger issue. My husband went in and heard the receptionist say the branch is closing which isn’t surprising based on how bad it’s gotten. We’ve moved vets now and wouldn’t recommend this practice due to their poor service.

An excellent vetinary practise who I have used for years and they have always been friendly, helpful and most importntly have cared for my pets in the most excellent way. I cannot recommend them highly enough

The reception team could teach the VET about manners and the appropriate way to treat people. I was told to hurry up and ask my questions as HE the vet was getting cold. He was so rude and dismissive, we found a better vets immediately and would never recommend this vet. All owners would want to be reassured and listened too, not hurried because the vet was too lazy to put a coat on, knowing full well he was going outside to talk to a pet owner. Disgusted

We saw a lovely vet called Brian who was very dedicated to help my 19 year old cat. My cat is usually scared of vets but liked Brian. When I called a few days later I got to speak to Brian on the phone. It's wonderful if you get to see/speak to the same vet for consistency of care. Can highly recommend.

I remain thoroughly impressed with outstanding care given to our nearly fourteen year old Staffie, Buster. Sadly he was poorly but Brian ( Vet) considered his needs before profit. It is a rarity to find a Vet so considerate and informative. Brian advised against more intrusive procedures for the best quality of life.When we all realised our very loved Buster could soon rapidly deteriorate, we were so grateful Brian was there at the end, to so kindly and gently help him pass away. We have been to many Vets but Brian is the only one who sent us a hand written letter of condolence with assurance we had done the right thing, to prevent suffering. That meant so very much to us.We know the Veterinary Practice was taken over by Medivet but the whole ethos of this place, remains one of complete care. Kay was wonderful and consistently eager to help in processing multiple pet insurance claims for us. We felt very supported throughout a difficult time and most importantly, Buster was clearly fond of Brian. He is the only Vet he didn't try to escape from. Phobia cured!Thank you all for such incredible commitment, sensitivity and care. We knew we could trust you to help Buster as much as possible and you certainly did. It has always been smooth to arranga appointments. Doctors are great, knowledgeable and give clear information/instructions to owner. Never had any disappointment.
