What a fabulous place. The birds are extremely well cared for. Staff are 100% dedicated. At the same time its shocking how many birds are there.If you can't dedicate your life to your bird. DON'T get one.

This is the most amazing place I have been to the staff really care about the birds and it shows. We went when the rescue was closed however when we rang because we had travelled from Cumbria they came straight away to show us around. We are going back to offer a bird their forever home at beginning of February.As a side note after reading other reviews saying that the place isn't clean. Birds aren't clean and tidy so if mess bothers you then don't get a bird especially one that has already been traumatized and in need of a loving home.Birdman you are amazing and we can't wait to see you again.

I purchased a cockatiel from here complete with cage ,food and toys for a great price . The people who served us were brilliant very friendly and helpful . I brought a disabled man to buy it as he had one when he was young and he is over the moon . Thank you for a great experience and fantastic customer service .

What an amazing place. We were amazed at how many birds were here and what amazing people working here saving and helping these beautiful birds. Very helpful and knowledgeable. My son loved his visit here and got to ask questions he had about the birds . Would definitely recommend. What I would say after being here is these birds are lifelong commitments if you can't give them alot of your time please don't get them.

Went to visit the parrot rescue and ended up adopting one of many beautiful parrots.

ABUSIVE ON THE PHONE!!Spoke to Jim and arranged a day and time to come and view the parrots. We travelled 50minutes to get to blackpool and 50 minutes back, when we got there Jim was acting very reserved and everytime we asked about a parrot we wanted to re-home he wasn't willing to give the background of any of the birds, just said i don't know. We chose one of the African Greys from the re-homing section, he still didn't have any information on this parrot too. I was then told to give my number and he will contact me on the weekend and let me know a date of when the parrot will be available to take home. I then received a call on the weekend to say the Parrot (BOBO) we wont be re-homing and will keep as a show bird
