Lovely small caravan park, caravan was spotlessly clean, friendly site. Great entertainments team especially Andy and Ellie who made us feel very welcome during our stay. Great location for visiting nearby seaside towns of Kent.

Great location five minutes from the sea with walks to Whitstable to the right partly on a solid footpath and then some shingle - turn left and the beach walk is spoilt by inconsiderate development but once past that a good walk all the way to Faversham.Good pub just outside with very quality Asian fusion grub or further towards Faversham is the Sportsman with Michelin star food. The camp site has basic amenities including clubhouse and open air heated pool but the grounds are restricted by council rules for non residential campsites ie shouldn’t look lived in though this doesn’t excuse the lack of greenery. There are plans to redevelop the site and expand it and thereby reduce the density. It’s a quiet location where you can listen to the skylarks singing though occasionally interrupted by the nearby railway line.

We used to go here when we lived locally. I first started going as it seemed impossible to take a disabled child on holiday when I had my own disability. I phoned them and explained everything and they were very nice. The founder was a guy who had an autistic child. They are very accommodating and the properties are kept nicely. They do have quite good entertainment (good enough for small children) and the site is not too overwhelming if you are taking kids with autism. If you make your needs known they will do their best to accommodate them!

We stayed in a gold plus caravan. It had everything required for a weekend break and probably a weeks stay too. Very spacious and comfortable. Great location for visiting the north Kent coast and Canterbury. The only issue we had was that we woke at 7am on Saturday to get ready to go out for the day to find no heating or hot water. It was only the gas bottle had run out. Reception was still closed (9-5 opening hours) and the park warden was not answering the phone either. I even tried the restaurant in case they were open for breakfast but nothing. I managed to find one of the parks maintenance guys who just happened to be checking gas bottles at the time. He was very polite and apologetic and changed the gas bottle over for us in minutes. He told me that the park warden finished at 6. That leaves a 3 hour window where no one can be contacted. Glad it wasn't a serious issue.

Very spacious and comfortable accommodation with, unusually, a large cooker . All mod cons. and TV in every room. Exceptionally clean. Recommended

Just went there to look at the location and what sort of caravans were there, to be honest didn't think much of it, the caravans are tightly packed together much more than other sites we've been to and the swimming pool is very small more just of a splash pool. The surrounding area to visit makes staying there worth while though.

This is a lovely quiet holiday park a short bus ride from Whitstable! The park is in a lovely place and is a very short walk from the beach, which is sandy when the tide is out! Good area to stay as you have a bus stop a short walk away which you can catch a bus into Canterbury bus station so you can bus around the area, or the bus to Canterbury goes past the railway station, so you can use the train to go places as well!!

We had a great impromptu stay. Booked only the day before arrival. The 4 reception and security people I interacted with were all very helpful and polite. I cannot thank the lady on reception enough for her help when I needed to unexpected do an emergency load of washing. The caravan was very clean and had all things you would expect. All the staff were friendly, there were not many of them and they were all doing the work of 3, but they did so with a smile on their faces and a kind word for everyone they served, some moving at double speed morning through to night (well early morning on the busiest nights), only managed to catch a couple of their names Scott and George being the ones that stick in my mind. Andy on the entertainment was definitely all in. We had some great evenings, karaoke, quizzes, bingo for those that love a good dab, music sets and some good morning entertainment for the children, mine enjoyed making fridge magnets, making crowns and they participated in Teddy Mountain, stuffing their own bears. The children enjoyed the pool most days, which was surprisingly very warm, definitely warmer than my local indoor pool. Had a lovely walk along the beach one evening, very close by, easy to access.

Just got back from an amazing week at Alberta Holidays. We were staying in Heroes Retreat, a holiday home for Veterans, my Client who is a Veteran had a really relaxing time and came away with a huge smile on her face. The location was perfect for someone with a physical disability, because everything was so local my Client could walk to the clubhouse, shop, pub and not have to use her motorised scooter.A special big thank you to Andy and Ellie the entertainment team who gave us a warm welcome, they both made the effort to come over to us whenever we went in the club house. A dynamic duo who work tirelessly to make sure everyone has a great holiday. My Client had never played bingo before, Ellie sat with her throughout and supported her in a way that gave my Client the confidence and independence to join in.Ellie is a great addition to the team, we hope to see you all next year.Clare and Karen 22.
