Nice welcome. Parking which is essential otherwise you get a fine! Lovely shortbread with tea and coffee in the room. Big room - could do with an overhaul in upholstery - curtain was broken. History point - Churchill stayed there and found a maggot in his kipper!

I Booked a Christmas night out for 40 people back in August, I was told they needed a £10 deposit when booking, the Receptionist told me nothing was booked and there was nothing she could do.The manager hasn’t even has the decency to call.So they get a -5 from me will never deal with them again.

Best Western Queens Hotel
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were fantastic. Pleasant, polite and couldn't do enough for you. We read a few reviews about this before hand, some good and some bad, but had a great time here. It's an old hotel full of character. The room size was great but the bath size wasn't. I'm 5'9

There for a wedding everything about the wedding was great but the food.The soup was made by the morning chef and was great, but the rest was only so so. Steak and ale had no gravy, the veg were nearly raw I was told.The staff were very friendly and helpful and the place was lovely.

Greeted on arrival by a lovely receptionist. Perfect room, warm, clean and comfortable, excellent beds.. Great choice at breakfast, perfectly cooked and served with a smile. Every member of staff had a smile and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back. Thank you

I visited this hotel a year ago and decide to return for a short stay to see my son at university, August 21It’s great for location and I’ve always found the staff nice. Yes, when you read the other reviews it does say the hotel looks tired and and in need of some attention. On both of my stays I found the rooms were old style with very high ceilings and spacious. The floorboards do creak but that’s just character!Just be mindful of the people below if you come in late at night ( it’s not a complaint) it has lots of old character and quirky bits too.I’m classed as having a disability and during this stay I experienced a fire alarm and evacuation. I grabbed the attention of someone in the hallway (just after 7 in the morning) to tell reception it would take me longer to get out. In no time at all I had a member of staff knocking atthe door to assistant me. I was so grateful and was allowed to return really quickly back to my room along with everyone else in the hotel.When reading reviews, decided what you require from a hotel, it’s not ultra modern but I had a lovely room with a very comfortable bed, carpet was quite new and all clean. Breakfast was good and plentiful. It has good location and nice staff. I didn’t book the hotel to stay in it my whole stay, so it was and is just as I needed.Things have been removed because of Covid and I expect things like information leaflets and information books in the rooms will return. Times are still trickery but well done the staff at the Queens in Dundee :)

Это единственное место где нас смогли разместить в Шотландии. Так, что всё прекрасно. Мы конечно не привыкли к такому сервису и обслуживанию, но выбирать то не нам.

Too expensive for a pint to start with. Old fashioned decor. Poor selection of beer on draft.No cider on draft so Mrs wasn't best pleased.
