I have hired their long pole petrol hedgetrimmer each year for several years now, and previously their large stair ladders, and received excellent service on all occasions - friendly and helpful staff. In my opinion, their charges are very reasonable too.

Hired a machine with a very excessive damage to body work, rams, oil lines and tracks. You couldn't miss it. Even had a fitter out on site to note damage and to fix multiple hydraulic leaks. Upon returning the machine I've now been accused of causing years worth damage, and funnily enough there are no previous check lists for a 2 year old machine in unreal condition. Their standards of care have dropped dramatically, to the point where I'm having to leave this review. Please beware before you hire. Might as well dig a hole yourself and throw your money in it.

I have used Healeys a few times before and found the service to be great. Hired a roof ladder from them and when it arrived on site we decided we also wanted a scaffold tower. They resolved our issue straight away getting the tower to us the same day which kept our project on schedule. Due to minimal storage space they also collected all the items the same day once we had finished with them. Faultless service and very helpful.

To be honest I've used several hire companies being in the ground works and building industry they are not very helpful they would rather stand around and watch you bust a gut struggling to get a genie lift on the back of a truck,need to keep this in mind in future when picking up something heavy and go elsewhere!
