Huge warehouse full of tat that I never knew I wanted until I got there. Offered for sale in online auctions. Some things look like bargains, others less so. Looks good value for bathroom and furniture. Also auctions for clothes, cars, bikes etc.

Don't bother with any electrical items for sale such as monitors - they are all literally broken and have smashed screens, missing parts, bend brackets, the lot. They are all photographed in a box so you can't even see what you're buying, no damage is ever mentioned in the description, or if you do get a photo of the actual item, it's misrepresented. Avoid and go to anther auction house.

Absolute waste of time. In my experience, no electrical items work, most other stuff arrives broken or damaged. No warranty or refund offered. Avoid at all costs

I'm really mad at John Pye Auctions. They show you nice pictures but their descriptions leave out crucial details. Bought something you thought was complete? Surprise, it's missing half the parts. They do this on purpose and then shrug it off, saying you should have done a viewing. It feels like they're playing tricks just to dump junk. Be careful if you're buying from them. Don’t get fooled by the shiny pictures and misleading words.

Seems like a good deal but extra costs add up. Delivery is expensive and collection only available 09:30-15:30 on weekdays. You are only given 3 working days after buying to collect and after this they add storage charges. They do not make this very clear on their website so can be a nasty surprise. Buyer beware!

Not a review of the items, that's a risk you take, but a review of the place itself. First time at this John pye site and the collection process is utterly appalling. Booked a collection slot between 2 and 3, get here at 1:55 and they confirm my number, I finally collected my order at 15:21, and they've brought out maybe 9 orders in the time I've been here, some of which are orders for people that arrived after me. I was not the only person in the situation, others had been an hour when I arrived and were already complaining. They need to find out what the Marchington branch are doing because those collections fly out in comparison.

This place is awesome, so many bargains to be had, amazing facilities, outstanding cafe, viewings are on a Friday only from 12 till 3pm. Brilliant place to visit.

Avoid purchasing items on this auction web.I have purchased few times,what I 've received were broken items,fake items and had couple of items missing.customer service is absolutely rubbish they are very rude and not responsible at all.Complaind about broken items they are said we offer viewing items and you didn't attend it.the question is why they put on items photos on auction but not broken side of items also they don't describe items as they are. They are scammers.

absolutely shockingly bad. Wales auctions avoid at all costs. Won 8 Lots only 5 delivered 35 days later. 2 lost in warehouse and one still missing. I will not be going back there again.

Purchased an £80 ceiling light with three lights and shades (we thought!) only to find it only came with two shades. When we asked to return - it's no good to us as it is - we were told we can't return, sold as seen as they are all customer returns - despite the image showing lots of boxes which were sealed. Will never use again. Far too risky.
