The Groom Room Bridgend

I've been a loyal customer at The Groom Room - Bridgend since August 2022, and my patience has finally run out. The online booking system is fundamentally flawed; it doesn't correctly book appointments for both of my dogs even when the confirmation email says otherwise. To add to the frustration, the salon staff call days later to ask if I'd like to book my dogs together, despite already doing so online. The system clearly isn't fit for purpose and relies on manual corrections from the local team, which in my latest experience, failed miserably.Today was the breaking point. I arrived for an appointment for both my dogs, only to be told one of them wasn't booked, despite having a confirmation email stating otherwise. I was then blamed for the oversight and accused of booking different time slots. There were no soft skills or even customer service skills used by the employee.To top it all off, the 'premium package' we usually opt for includes a free bandana, which my dogs did not receive. When I inquired, I was told that they don't usually give them out because many dog owners don't like them. If that's the case, why not simply ask? It's a minor issue but indicative of a larger problem with their customer service.Overall, the customer service is lacking, and the booking system is atrocious. We're taking our business elsewhere and I cannot recommend this place to anyone until significant changes are made.

Not good I phone someone and thay said I should have some of my money back it dont cost £35 for wash and dry my dog blade was still wet coming out

Our dog loves going here. They look after her so well, and she always comes back in good spirits with a great haircut and fluffy coat.

Terrible - take my advice and don’t book. Cancelled the appointment 2 days before and offered another 6 weeks away. Very unprofessional- spent £1000s with the vets next door and this is how they treat you. No care for the coats on my dog.I’m not the first to receive this call they are cancelling everyone just before the appointments.Stay away and book somewhere reliable. Since the manager left there’s no management control here.

For a big site I didn't find many used cars as not everyone can afford new cars.

My new puppy had his first groom on Saturday and he loved it, he came out so happy and excited, he smelt amazing and even got an adorable bandana! Can't wait to take him again!

Great service will use again

Great to be able to take our Gizmo back for a pamper at the Groom Room inside PetsAtHome. Friendly, prompt service and very good results.

Brilliant staff and my pooch looks gorgeous!
