Returning from Hogmanay in Grantown on Spey towards our next stop in Glencoe we had some real problems with the brakes on our renault master campervan. Brake fluid boiling, handbrake seized on and brake pads disintegrated. We came across Chrisholms garage that had good reviews and drove down early morning. We met Colin and Natalie who listened intently to what had happened, got on the phone immediately and ordered a raft of parts from 2 suppliers (one in aberdeen). We left them the van for the night while we enjoyed a hotel with pool....the next day these AMAZING people had done their upmost to get us back on the road. Cannot recommend them enough. We are from lancashire and were worried about taking the van to a garage outside of our area, but these people took us in and helped us no end......Fantastic

Had a Wheel bearing problem on my discovery whilst on holiday they got it ordered and sorted the next day, great service and well priced thanks guys

Big thank you to a helpful garage! Key fob battery was showing as low & worried about being stranded if it stopped working, so called in after recommendation from a local. I had a new battery but unsure how to change, they had it done for me in a jiffy, free of charge! You don’t often find that nowadays, excellent service, thanks again

Fast response for recovering my car immobilized by clutch failure far from my home. Kept me updated and checked with me when they found the fault to approve the cost to repair and car was ready to collect when they said it would. They can deliver your car to you if required.

We went there on short notice when our car had motor problems and they fixed it right away the next morning, got us moving again. Very nice service Personal and fair pricing, would come again :)

Quite simply the most amazing, honest and trustworthy garage I've ever come across.My wife and I were holidaying up in Glencoe at the Clachaig Inn when we had an accident and our vehicle went off the road into a dyke on the Clachaig - Glencoe Road.Luckily, two minutes after we crashed a passer by (who owned the Red Squirrel camp site (massive thanks to her)) called Colin from Chisholm's who was there in 15 minutes and quoted me a reasonable price to recover the vehicle.They pulled the car from the dyke and we got it back to their garage in Ballachulish to pop it on a ramp to have a look at the damage.Unfortunately we'd hit something hard and damaged our subframe amongst (other stuff) and to cut a long story short the insurance company wrote off the car.All the way through the process the team at Chisholm's were both understanding, supportive and helpful.If you're travelling up to Glencoe, you're miles away from any national recovery service and would be waiting ages for help. Great garage, wish it was my local. We had engine trouble and they were able to take a look and diagnose the problem the next day. Had to wait a couple of days for the parts (these things take longer in remote locations) but they soon had our campervan fixed. Very helpful and friendly staff. We didn't use it, but I also noticed that they have a recovery vehicle, which is handy to know as we regularly visit this area.

Got here with a brake failure alert while traveling. There was no chance for them to look at the car till the next day. I understand the place was fully booked, but I'd expect a little more flexibility, especially in such a tourist spot with lots of people passing through. After all, the brake fluid needed to be topped up, which could have been spotted by a mechanic in no time.
