Sophia Fensome, Dog Training

Our lurcher Radagast is anxious around other dogs, causing him to display signs of aggression. We had some training sessions between October 2021 and January 2022 with Sophia, who helped us to see the world through Rad's eyes and also recognize signals through observing his body language. She also armed us with the tools we need to help Rad to relax more. Training is an ongoing and definitely not a linear process but we have seen positive results over time and we are having many more good days than bad! I know that we're on a path to a happier dog ❤️Sophia is easy to get on with, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend her services to anyone!

As an experienced dog owner I had become frustrated with our 3 year old dog as no techniques, which had successfully worked on our older dog, seemed to work with him when it came to loose lead walking. This resulted in the enjoyment of our walks reducing as the pulling was an issue.I got in touch with Sophia and training started quickly. Bertie was quick to respond and loves the sessions which are informative and fun. Sophia’s 14 years experience clearly shines through. She understood his background, pointed out areas that need further investigation and clearly knows her stuff.Sophia works with positive training (to the dog and owner!) explains what to do and why. There is no judgement, just great training that is fun and rewarding.If you are looking for support or training for a young pup or looking to reconnect and improve areas of an older dog, I can’t recommend Sophia highly enough.I can’t wait for our next session, nor can Bertie!
