Nice music... Poor beer and food selection this year though...

First time there and glad I tried it out. 20 or so beers on offer, prosecco, gin and rum, food and live music from local talent.Cashless payment is used, but once you use the top up system to pay, you soon get used to it.Took the bus to and from the venue which drops you off at the venue. Will definitely go back next time.

My least favourite beer festival experience. Very difficult to get served and the cashless system is a joke, especially when you are in a field with no signal. The top up cards don’t give a balance update even though they take your phone number which makes no sense.

Long waiting times at the bars spoiled it for me! I know it's hard for staff to keep on top of the queue, but regardless of where I stood there was always someone else getting served before me that was later in joining the queue than me :/ can't compare it to another beer festival as it was my first, not sure I'll be attending one again :/

Good drinks, music and things to do with the little ones on the Sunday

The shortage of staff ruined it for us. We spent so long waiting at the bars to get served we eventually gave up and went to a pub. At the Stonehaven event, the staff were crammed shoulder to shoulder behind the bar, which meant near-instant service. The QR code payment thing seemed to be slowing things down too, versus just having plastic tokens.
