Great place for a big feast. Great salady bits in the middle and an onslaught of amazing bbq meat (veggie options too) come to your table. Meat was all cooked perfectly! The lamb was delicious. Will pace myself better next time. Very good value.

Treated to a dinner by my son. It’s one of his favourite places to eat. Frankly, Churrasco is not exactly a good option for me because I don’t know how to appreciate red meats. However, for all the chicken meats, fantastic garlic bread, pineapple slices and side items, they were all scrumptious! My family and friends undoubtedly enjoyed all the meats available.And the icing to cake is the warm and friendly staff.Highly recommended!

They are a super attentive team, very polite, funny and friendly. I love the different steak options, they serve plantain and different salas as a complementary of the buffet, my fiancé and I always go there in special occasion and they never miss :)Always delicious and perfect service 10/10

Just so tasty! I have been to a few rodizio-style places and this was right up there. No saving the good meat for the end when you’re already full, it was just wave after wave of phenomenal steak from the start! Would 100% recommend

Having visited quite a few times, I can strongly recommend Charro De Rio for both lunch and dinner.The food is consistently good - in particular the chicken and apricot sausages and grilled pineapple. The sides (particularly the cauliflower, beef stew and green beans) are surprisingly good and replenished on request. There is also a modestly-priced unlimited fizzy water option, which is a good option to have.There tends to be a flurry of meat-based activity, followed by a lull, so it's worth deciding your meat strategy in advance. I recommend holding out for the prime cuts, sausages and pineapple. As you are regularly asked if you want to have some of what's being offered, the conversation with dining companions can be quite stop/start, but there are now handy signs to show if you want to take a break from meat acquisition. You are expected to help with the conveyance of carved meat from the skewer to your plate / a communal plate, so it's worth brushing up on your tong skills.The service is generally friendly in what is a fairly unforgiving environment - the risk of meat-juice spillage remains ever present for those doing the carving.I found it slightly too hot this evening with the front doors open and air conditioning off, but on previous visits the temperature has been fine. The chairs are significantly more comfortable than the benches, so I would probably try to come back as a two rather than a 3+ group.All in all, Charro de Rio is a great asset to the local area and I hope it continues to thrive.

My husband, our 15 year old son, and I had a great experience today!! We arrived earlier than our booking and were welcomed in by the friendly staff. The food was exceptional, cooked to order, and they brought out our favourite meats whenever we asked. My son loved their chicken Sausages. We ate until our hearts were content and when we asked for the bill, they came out with a complementary desert for the 3 of us to share !! I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming back again!

In short, a fabulous place.Our table was booked and was ready for us on arrival. Very pleasant and attentive staff and were eager to help and serve.The food was absolutely delicious. The group that I went with had different levels of how well cooked the meet they preferred. They somehow managed to cater for all our varying requirements. Enjoyed the different meat cut flavours. Did really enjoy the starters, too. Didn't expect these to be part of the offer, and they were really tasty.We thoroughly enjoyed our visit as the place was quite appealing , clean, and tidy.I would definitely like to go there again and would equally recommend to others especially for the meat eaters.

So happy to be back over the weekend. This place is full of good vibes! I’ve been here for a few times, every time I was welcomed by Luci and staff. They are the nicest people you can find. Food is excellent! Below is my first review.——————————-First of all, I need to mention the five star service from the staff. They are all professional, helpfully, absolutely brilliant! Their smiles are contagious making dining here such a pleasant experience. Food is absolutely delicious and served according to our liking. And the cocktails as well!! If you are vegetarian, there’s a menu for you too. I can’t wait to go back.
