Totally disgusted with this company after losing my granddaughter earlier this year they transported her coffin to the crematorium in the boot of a member of staff personal car and carried her over a carpark no dignity or respect at all towards a baby their excuse was coffin is too small to fit in a herse (was about 2ft long) never heard such rubbish also a big scratch down the lid of her coffin no respectful funeral directors would send it out looking like that

Terrible experience !!!. Collyer and McBride would not collect the body of our beloved family member for several hours, even though they said within 1 hour after numerous calls they said they would call back twice but did not, staff on the phone were rude,unhelpful, and unsympathetic, when the car arrived to collect the body of our beloved family member he was nearly dropped on the floor when being taken out on a stretcher as the lady lost her grip and the stretcher tipped over. He was then bundled into a dirty dented vehicle with what looked like tools in the back. When we arrived at the funeral home which was 2 minutes away it looked like something from Steptoe and son. We were also told we could only visit once in a few weeks. As the family were so appalled and upset by the service our beloved family member was moved to an another funeral home within 90 minutes and they have been amazing. For just around 90 minutes collyer and mcbride held our beloved family member to ransom and would not release his body to another funeral home until around £400 was paid. No apology given for the appaulling service, nearly dropping his body, hours waiting for them to arrive and unpleasant behaviour from staff not only have they caused the family extream upset they held us to ransom. Appaulling i would avoid their services at all cost.

Like all the bereaved, you expect the very best for your loved ones final journey. From the very beginning, Katherine was a great listener, very sympathetic and fantastic advisor to the families of Donald. The team shared their experiences and met and even went beyond our expectations. All requirements of the families were met. Nothing was a problem. The company played such an important role from the start to the end. DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Thank you all so much for your help and support on what was and still is an extremely difficult time for us all. May you all continue to be blessed.

Such an amazing place and staff, we have used them for many many years and always do such a beautiful pofessional job,and really go out there way to make sure all your needs are met no matter how big or small.. i can highly recommend the pre-paid funeral plan with this amazing company then every thing is stress free when the time comes as they know exactly what your loved ones wishes are so you dont have to choose or do anything only the funeral date and all your wishes are carried out.. i wouldnt use anybody else as most companies are just about money but with collier and McBride they show true compassion and really care about you and your loved one...

Collyer and McBride Birchfield Rd branch dealt with my fathers funeral. They were absolutely exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. The staff are caring and compassionate and do a fantastic job. They made sure my Dad looked so smart before his service and I couldn't have asked for more from them. Thank you so much
