I booked an appointment with Kellie as I had what her website called ‘hair envy’. My own hair had started to go thinner the more I went into peri-menopause and after years of frizzy, lank, lacklustre hair that couldn’t hold a hair style and had been scrapped back in ponytails and buns I took action to get my hair back. I collected my hair topper which was expertly colour matched by Ellen and then styled and cut into shape to mirror my existing hair beneath. Kellie gave me hints and pointers on how to put the topper on and get the best from it in terms of washing and styling. I am soo grateful and happy with the result and thank both Kellie and Ellen for their time, expertise and of course the lovely coffees x

She is the kindest soul, and has made me feel so confident with my gorgeous new topper, and even found time to spoil my little granddaughter who came with me and her mum for morale support! Both Kellie and her lovely hair stylist are fantastic! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Well worth the 4 hour round trip xxx

Am so happy I stumbled across this shop! My hair is very thin, and has lost a lot of volume and length over the last few years. I nervously went into Bear with the Hair and could not have been made to feel any more comfortable or at home by lovely Kellie! She had squeezed in my consultation despite having had a long day, but still made me feel so at ease. She colour matched my hair to a tee, and arranged for the topper to be permed so that it would match my curl pattern. I was apprehensive about this but really needn't have been - the end result was so accurate that I was genuinely shocked! See before & after pics attached.It looks exactly how my own hair did about 10 years ago & it's amazing to have the option to have longer, thicker hair. I visited Bear with the Hair yesterday as I’ve just started chemo and I know I’m going to lose my hair soon and wanted to be prepared and to discuss options. I was very apprehensive about what to expect but I left feeling like I had been visiting a creative and friendly salon where they really cared about you and understood the emotions around losing your hair. I was able to try on different wigs and was not pressured into buying anything. Kellie was genuinely interested in doing what was best for me. She also does brilliant hair extensions too. I really cannot recommend this Salon highly enough. This is definitely not just a wig shop! I wish Kellie and the team continued success. They definitely deserve it.

I bought my 10 year old daughter who has alopecia to meet the team, who before we had even arrived had put me at ease about the visit as she also has ASD. We were taken to a private area to chat, no rushing or pressure so she could take her time and get comfortable. We weren't sure what options were available but my girl went from being self conscious and unable to look in a mirror to smiling, flicking her new found locks and feeling happy for the first time in a long time. I cried as it was the most supportive atmosphere. Thank you so much for giving my girl her smile back.

I had the best experience here, I started with tears but had the biggest smile on my face when I left. Meeting some lovely women there who were going through their own experiences. Kellie is such a beautiful soul and definitely knows her stuff. There is no hard sell and you can go back if unsure. I decided then and there to purchase my topper, my family were so impressed, I absolutely love it. I really cannot recommend Bear With The Hair highly enough. My Mum and I visited yesterday and we were received with the warmest welcome from Kellie who went above and beyond to put us at ease and explain all the options available to us (colour, styling, hair length etc...) Kellie is truly inspiring and we left with confidence which, over time, we had lost. We can't thank her enough.

Lovely lady, great consulting and made to feel so welcome. Quick to respond to questions via text and felt as nothing was too much. Came to the day of choosing my new hair piece and I trusted Kellie to help me make a choice with me. Once I had the one" I just knew! Got very emotional and just needed to hug Kellie!
