Sad to say it was not very nice. It's a beautiful place which has been destroyed by people leaving all sorts of assorted objects on trees and around the site. This is a superstitious tradition which has nothing to do with true devotion to God or St Patrick. The waters of the well ate covered in scum too so it is far from pure or clean. My visit made me sad. It used to be so beautiful and inspiring.

Beautiful place. Stunning... Such a lovely, peaceful place that is full of wildlife and has the most interesting but freezing well ever. Love it!

St Patrick's Holy Well
Beautiful little hidden well. Water bubbles up and flows out of the Well in two different directions. You can walk round it but be careful of the stones as they are very slippy. Great for a short visit but during summer prayers and Stations of the cross are said at it so I would expect it to be alot busier, which is only a problem as it has little to no safe parking.

No parking , only on side of the road, area is kept well and is nice to visit as a quick visit , worth visiting if you believe in these places ,

Love a good old Christian tale or visiting spot, it is true about the water, it is exceptionally cold, the water running out both directions, adds to the mystery.

So tranquil and beautiful. A peaceful little pool on a junction with a very interesting history. The water flows in two different directions from the central pool, which I found fascinating as it appears level. Go see for yourself it's definitely worth a visit .

Beautiful tranquil spot we randomly drove past, fantastic to dip your feet and have a short stop off point.
