I have had a relative who after failing to get help in the community after coming out of care went on to commit an offence. They were then sent to Clifton HouseThe staff appear to be very obliging and helpful and always agree with you but no concerns are ever addressed or any action put in place.. After months of frustration and trying to get someone at Clifton House to listen to our concerns and to help my cousin, he has now been released. He is on a downward spiral. They like to medicate patients but Im afraid don't treat the underlying problem which then forms a vicious cycle of repeat offending. There is no effective treatment given at all just medication and let them get fat. Nothing to do, no rules, just do as you want. Patients are treated as numbers and not people with individual problems.
