The Melrose cafe
We’ve never been disappointed with either the food or the welcoming atmosphere at this café. We called in today needing to eat before a visit to the Kinema and were rewarded with a wonderful liver and bacon, plated up with mash or chips and a further four veg - all freshly cooked and very reasonably priced. So good we’ve booked a Christmas lunch next week!. It may be unprepossessing at first glance but is heartily recommended!

We only stayed a short time for drinks but people were spaced apart. The drinks were very nice and the tea came in a pot teapot not a stainless steel one. The service was very nice. Take a minute to read in the shop window next door about making the royal cake.

Lovely cafe with very welcoming and friendly staff. Amazing home cooked meals and puddings/cakes, which are a bargain! Doesn't look like much from the outdside but definitely a hidden gem in Woodhall Spa!

They do an excellent Full English Breakfast.Well worth a visit. Staff are welcoming. Nice atmosphere.

So peaceful and calming sitting in their garden area. Had a toasted sandwich, chips and salad - a good, tasty, simple meal with best chips. Coffee is fab, best had anywhere in a long while. Lovely biscuit too. Homemade scone looks great - yet to tuck in. Super friendly service, I'll now make this my local! Tucked away on the main drag of Woodhall Spa, do find it, you will not be disappointed.
