Adopted Weeman a gorgeous 12 yr old domestic long hair in April 2022. He is the most affectionate and gorgeous wee chap Just had his 13th birthday. So glad we adopted each other.

Find a new bottom for the litter box and donated it to Edinburgh Cat Protection with treats and toys. The guy at the door was kind but didn't let me see any of the cats, which was a wee disappointment. So folks keep donating and remember to book an appointment in advance if you would like to see the cats.

I got my black cat from here and she was amazing,, she has unfortunately lost her life she was around 16 years young but I still think about her everyday in life, I would love another cat to be adopted by me but it has to get on with my other cat Tomas !!!

Took Ash home on Saturday, cat protection league were amazing. So helpful and lots of advice. He's taking a few days to settle but starting to enjoy his new home

Got MAJA a 2 yrs 2months old cat on Tuesday. She's settled in well in her new home NO DOUBT DUE TO THE WAY KIM AND LUKE from the ECP look after the cats waiting to be rehomed ALL THE BEST GEORGE AND JANE 24LP

Exactly 10 years ago today, my wife and I went to the Edinburgh Cat Protection League, walked into the main room, then this gorgeous (and quite large) long hair tabby called Romy simply 'picked' us. She was already around 8 years old then, and would have been around 18 today but sadly we lost her after a long battle with Diabetes three months ago. We will always be grateful to the staff for their dedication, professionalism, and for the amazing company she was and the happy memories she gave us.If you're thinking in adopting a rescue cat, the Edinburgh Cat Protection League is a very good option indeed, my only advice however would be to change the Veterinary as soon as you adopt it. as Batchelor, Davidson & Watson, (their default Veterinary Practice) is not only extortionately expensive, and very poorly run, but they really do not care at all about the welfare of the cats, they only care about money.

Got the most adorable cat called stitch. He has settled in really well. He has taken over my house and heart completely. Adopting a new friend for life and the staff make it a very good experience from the start. Would highly recommend.

Happy to say I adopted a beautiful relaxed cat from here. She was clearly very well looked after and content and had her for almost 2 years before a short illness at almost 13 years old.Amazing to have looked after Little Jade and recommend Cats protection league.

I visited with a friend about 6yrs ago and she adopted a beautiful cat she named picasso, the staff were amazing and the cats were all well looked after. The staff provide a wonderful service and if I ever want or need another companion I know exactly where I'll be going.. Thank you Edinburgh cat protection you do a wonderful job..

We adopted our Mr Tibs from here later last year and he has settled in amazingly. Couldn’t recommend this place enough as we love this lil character with everything
