If I could have given 10 stars I would have. We were not the easiest of service users they will have had. We had many difficulties with organising my mother in law's funeral due to private cemetery issues. Jamie and his incredible team were absolutely fantastic. They took over and made it so much easier. We never were made to feel like a burden to them. I could not rate them highly enough.

My husband has recently passed away and J.F.Knight were my chosen funeral directors.The care and compassion they gave me and my family was second to none and every detail was attended too with the utmost professionalism.I would recommend entrusting your loved one with them.

With such a personal caring manner that made you feel comfortable in dealing with such difficult times and nothing was any trouble from to start to finish . My family and I chose JF Knight for our Mum's funeral. From my first conversation I knew that I had made the right choice. Jamie was very easy to talk to; sincere and understanding. During the whole process all the staff were easy to contact and willing to fulfill all our requests, even though sometimes we were running late. On the day of the funeral everything was perfect, from the hearse arriving at my house, and Jamie walking in front as we went down the road, until we left the crematorium. All the staff were unobtrusive but we felt that they were supporting us completely all the way.

I really recommend Knight funerals if you are looking for an understanding, family based service who will look after you and spend time helping you understand the process. Special thanks to Tracey and Ben

Brilliant service from start to finish. Everything was made as easy as possible for us. Shirlee guided us through all of the decisions needed to ensure the funeral was exactly what our Father-in-Law would have wanted. The support provided by JF Knights made what could have been a very stressful experience as easy and straight forward as possible. Superb support. J F Knight provided me with kindly, highly skilled and unstinting support at a very difficult time and went way above and beyond in helping me to create all the details of a very personalised service. Kay was patient and supportive from the start, in making choices about the coffin, the venues for the service and the after gathering, in preparing the booklet and, on the day, was there in an instant with advice, umbrella and absolute professionalism. I was also glad of and touched by the support from other members of the team, including Shirlee, who followed up lots of queries for me, helped with the final photo decision and who put in a lot of effort to find the very lovely and amazing vintage hearse that we used. I’d especially also like to mention Tracey, at the Meadowhead house, who I met several times and who supported me very warmly, patiently and professionally both before and after the funeral, but particularly on the difficult days when I said my last farewell before the funeral, and when I collected the ashes.At Chesterfield crematorium, the details of the service went very smoothly, including the music and co-ordinated photo slideshow and, again, my thanks to the team at Knight’s for their efforts in liaising with the crematorium to set up all the details just perfectly. Special mention too for the stunning coffin decoration by Plantology on Abbey Lane.I’d also very highly recommend the very skilled and empathetic celebrant, Carl Taylor, who delivered a warm tribute that attracted many compliments from those present on the way he helped bring so many memories to mind. I greatly appreciated his advice and caring support during the preparation stage, in which he gently advised on some of the choices needed for the service, prompted a few changes to make sure all the family felt included, and made sure that all the details would work on the day, which they absolutely did.I would wholeheartedly recommend this company for their advice, professionalism, willingness to accommodate many personal touches, and for their dedicated efforts in guiding me through a process that was new to me, not in easy circumstances and which resulted in a very touching, memorable and fitting tribute to my husband. Thank you so much.
