Fish was very good, chips were OK but could have done with more for £10.80.Food cooked to order so 15 minute wait. It would have been nice for staff to explain this.Service was terrible on take away counter. It would be difficult for them to be less interested. No eye contact, order number just shouted and food left on counter. Some interaction with customers would be good.

Awful. Used the takeaway for this place. Friendly enough staff. Got asked twice what my order was which was fine but, when I got my order it was wrong and the sausage barely cooked.Mini chips £2.20? A handful of chips if that. Won’t be using again.

No where else open that is not a restaurant or pub.Tasty fish and chips, but expensive.Had takeaway as upstairs restaurant closed.Nice evening so sat on Quay. (Watch for sea gulls)For 1 large cod and chips, 1 small cod and chips, can of pop, bottle of water £23.95

Lovely fresh battered fish and delicious, proper chips. What more can you ask for?! We had both the cod and haddock and both were delicious, lightly battered with delicious, fresh fish. Service was also excellent and friendly, however a little tight to have to pay 20p for a sachet of sauce if you want it. Overall a lovely stop if you happen to be around the Quay.

When we are in Poole we always plan to go to Harlees for fish & chips. Last time we went we realised they have a restaurant upstairs. The entrance isn’t super obvious - the door is quite small and down the small alleyway on the side of the building. As we were visiting on a wet and cold day it was nice to have the option of eating in the warm restaurant. The restaurant is nicely decorated (believe it was refurbished last year). The upper level has a good view of the harbour. There’s also a small balcony that would be enjoyable in the summer. The waiter who served us was very friendly which made the experience even better. The fish and chips are always absolutely brilliant. And the kids meals come with a playmobil toy which feels so much better than any toy you would ever get with a Happy Meal.So to sum up... we love this place!

Had a lovely chippy tea from here. The Haddock was very fresh and the batter was thin but very crispy. Chip-shop chips aren't usually my favourite but these were hot and crispy - nice being able to add my own salt & vinegar too.The homemade pea fritter was also good - I enjoyed the little bit of mint they add to their mushy peas. Solid curry sauce too.

£30 for cod & chips twice & a small mushy peas. Food was cooked fresh, but 7 of us were extremely disappointed. Not sure if it was the oil, but the chips didn't taste right. Most of us left some of the food. I don't mind paying, but the food food definitely wasn't worth £30. Please read reviews before visiting l, we were all disappointed at the lack of quality & flavour. Unfortunately we wouldn't recommend or return here. I thought with coming to a lovely part of Poole that the fish & chips would be beautiful, but this definitely wasn't the case.

Really enjoyed the fish and chips, but a bit disappointed that nobody told me how long id be waiting for. Considering they had a queue, it would have been good to get a small ETA. The guy on till was a bit weird to some customers but overall tasty.

Visiting the local area after a boat tour we fancied fish and chips. Food was nice but service is lacking. Had to put salt and vinegar on ourselves and bag our food. They are also selling multipack marked canned drinks for £1.55.It’s not cheap also but is what it is.
