Julian House Bike Workshop - Trowbridge

The only independent Bike Shop left in Trowbridge. Knowledgeable mechanics, speedy service, awesome selection of refurbished bikes (some retro gems way under priced), Orbea & Ridgeback new bikes and a top selection of parts & accessories. Whats not to like.

Went in for service advice, a supercilious individual told me my bike was a wreck (bought from there 2 yrs ago) + i would need to replace. The bike is still going strong despite his attempts to sell me another. Tread carefully.

Can't comment on the quality of work itself but received a very helpful assessment of my bike upon walk-in with no appointment

Puncture in back wheel of mi-rider electric bike, fixed very quickly and at a reasonable price. Will be using JH Bike workshop again

Went in as needed my front derailleur fixed, he did it and then I took it in for a service, honestly, these guys are amazing, super fair pricing and now I've found my bike shop! Thank you so much

I first came across this place at Frome market. I subsequently went to the shop in Trowbridge and bought a restored 90’s expedition/touring bike. I have since ridden it across much of France and it has been fantastic. There was a problem with the front pannier after the first long trip, but this was rectified with no quibbling. I could not recommend more highly and it is such a good cause too.

I first visited this place for a front derailleur and left with a bargain, thanks to their great selection of used parts. Sadly, the bike it was intended for ended up being beyond reasonable repair (it was only a cheap Apollo) and so I required a new bicycle altogether.Thanks to the great service I initially received, this was the first place I thought of, when needing to purchase said bike. The advice given was great, the reception warm and friendly and the price point of the refurbished bike I ended up buying was very fair. It's also comforting to know that my money will help support a great cause instead of going to, say, the likes of Mike Ashley.In a nutshell; This place is awesome, Josh is a legend and I will always come here when seeking advice, parts or a service.

We first took our bike to Halford and hope they can fix it. However, they said they need specialist to deal with electric bike, so they want to keep the bike for a few days. Then we go to this shop, and they fix it in 20 minutes. They are professional, efficient and they charge reasonable price. I will give them 10 Star if it is an option.
