This one I can’t speak more highly of. The service was that I could expect in a high end London place. The prices albeit higher than the area still was very reasonable. The food I had was well presented. Since I’ve only eaten there once I can’t really comment, but I do look forward to widening my experience to comment more fully.Well done.

Only our second visit, but we were in the area, and I was tempted to see if the E&C Burger I'd had on my last visit was as brilliant as I'd remembered the first time. It most definitely was. Strange really, because I rarely order a burger in a pub/restaurant, but this one is well worth the trip. My wife had the Halloumi burger which she also really enjoyed. We were made to feel very welcome by the landlady and her staff, and went away feeling very full and satisfied. A shame you're not on our doorstep, but we will definitely be back, at least to try some of the other items on the menu.

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, great for cyclists, plenty of outdoor space, clean facilities, and very kind and friendly people who work there. Thank you to Trish and all the staff there who helped me when stranded on my bike - they helped wrap up my leftover food for the journey, gave me directions to the station and filled up my water bottle. What a wonderful place that turned my situation around <3

We arrived at the Elephant and Castle and were greeted straight away with a warm welcome and a friendly smile.We were seated away from most of the hustle and bustle of the restaurant (which we really appreciated) and asked straight away what drinks we would like.We had a few minutes perusing the menu and were asked if we had decided what we wanted to eat in a good, timely manner.We both ordered 'The Posh One' breakfast. The food was clearly a very high quality, with immaculate presentation. It's more than clear that great pride is taken in the sourcing, cooking and presenting of the dishes. The potatoes that come with the breakfast were particularly tasty.We were given some time to chat after we finished our food before the plates were cleared. We were then asked if we would like anything else.We asked for the bill and this was brought to us straight away, again with the upmost professionalism and warmth that we experienced throughout our whole dining experience.We could not find one thing to complain about or to recommend to better the service. Absolutely A-star.

Service was excellent. Food was nice but the chips were undercooked and a bit white for my liking. Steak was cooked to perfection. Overall it was a nice meal for me and my wife sat at side of the log burner.
