Stunning food served with a laugh and a smileHave thought long and hard about writing this review as we don’t really want everyone to know just how good Pete is!From the moment he arrived the smell from the kitchen was amazing and due to the dietary requirements of our guests the food was all Dairy and Gluten free.All six of us enjoyed the evening, highlights were the prawns and the duck, we had given Pete Carte Blanche to serve us the food he wanted to and it was a wonderful mix of East Asian flavours to Persian favourites.What surprised me was the restaurant quality and the ease and confidence to prepare it while hungry diners watch on!Can’t recommend him enough and he has a further two bookings from us already.

We got Pete in for a belated birthday celebration, and we absolutely loved it! Every plate was amazing and had his own unique style attached to it. He told us we’d have enough for left overs but we enjoyed his food so much that there was nothing left by the end except a bit of dessert for the next day! Excellent, attentive service and a high quality Asian-style menu, we’ll certainly be looking to have Pete and his food in our house again.

This was a 50th Birthday celebration for 13, and have to say the food was magnificent. Pete was very personable but not intrusive, and the whole experience was delightful. We couldn't have wished for anything better, and thoroughly recommend him.

Pete catered for our party of 100 guests, providing a Mexican taco bar for dinner and an Asian noodle bar later in the evening.The food tasted fantastic with bold, bright flavours and many of the guests commented on how good the food was. Presentation was also excellent, and he catered for various dietary requirements with ease too.I believe Pete is more used to catering for small home parties, but despite this Pete and his team had no problem serving our large crowd in a timely and friendly manner, ensuring everybody was well fed.We would happily recommend Pete to anyone looking for a skilled and versatile chef for a special occasion.

We booked Pete for my mother's 60th birthday for 6 of us. We decided on a private chef as she is classed as high risk so we thought it would be safer to do a gathering at home, rather than at a restaurant. Pete was brilliant from start to finish. The food he served throughout the evening was incredible and he took care of absolutely everything from setting the table to the cooking and even all the washing up. We had the best evening and price wise Pete is very reasonable. We will definitely book for another dinner party again.

I found Pete online and called him straight away, he came across very well and professional. He is a great guy, clearly loves his job and the food tasted great. He seasons food perfectly, cooked the duck and salmon and beef to perfection and the food also looked colourful and appetising on the plates. I asked him to cook what he loves and create a menu of his choice, he had 4 vegetarians to consider. On the evening everything was served in a timely fashion and the kitchen was left clean (Floors washed too). All of our guests loved the food and have continued to talk about it, We will be booking Pete again for sure!

Pete is an exceptional chef. We had a birthday party for 10 with various dietary and allergy requirements. Before the event Pete discussed and planned the menu.On the evening Pete (and George, his assistant) took care of everything without any fuss - laid the table and created the most fabulous 5 course meal, including three different main dishes, then cleared away leaving the kitchen clean and tidy.The food was absolutely delicious and everyone loved everything - so much flavour and great tastes - just gorgeous.Pete’s really friendly and very helpful. We’ll definitely book Pete again and we highly recommend him - you won’t be disappointed and you’ll have a fantastic night.

A group of 10 of us recently celebrated two birthdays and booked Pete to cook for our private dinner party. It isn’t something any of us had done before but we would definitely do again in the future. Pete was great in helping us to create the perfect menu for our party and took care of everything. The night itself was brilliant from start to end and every single dish was amazing! Highly recommend!

Pete's cooking is amazing! He cooked for 9 of us in a rental property. You'd never guess he'd never seen the kitchen before.In the build up to the big event, Pete was fantastic. He took the time to learn what all guests wanted to see and built a 5 course menu for everyone!Would highly recommend.
