Went here for my Daughter's 30th Birthday Meal and had a very enjoyable meal. The chef even catered for my Daughter's partner who is a vegetarian with non meat gravy and veggie stuffing. Plentiful portions even though we had standard and small carvery.

Very warm, friendly staff and regulars, proper family pub. The Sunday carvery not to be missed, sometimes there can be a short wait but it's well worth the wait, the Stones Bitter is a revelation, takes you back to good old days

My band was booked to play live music on the Saturday night. We turned-up with a full PA and backline to be told we had been cancelled. This was news to everyone in the band! There are better ways to spend a Saturday evening. To add insult to injury, people who came specifically to see our band were told that we had cancelled the gig!

Such a welcoming family pub with amazing staff and owner. Enjoyment for both adults and children. I would recommend there excellent food to anyone as well

Nice pub. Not good if you like sport. Saturday night DJ has all telly's and big screen showing kareoke lirics but locals like me who like to watch a bit of sport with a pint on Saturday night have to suffer. Not for you if you like your spot. Supposed to be a music and sports bar, the latter doesn't exist. About time the management listened to the locals and not the once a weekers.

Great night ,great staff they had a guitarist singer who was great. And the chefs chicken wings 30 with a drink £10 were amazing !!!!!
