If we could give zero stars we would. This company is far too keen to seal a deal without considering what the customer has stated their main aims are. We wanted a one year contract and felt pressurised to accept a 3 year blend and extend deal, with a £5800.00 cancellation fee and no cooling off period. Please learn from our mistake.

I sit on the board of directors at the Minerva charity, Hexham. DBS cold called & pressured a PT worker with learning disabilities who suffered from seizures into signing a contract which was £3,500 over the market rate.The charity went with another energy company as a result and DBS invoiced us for over £5,900 as a contract cancellation fee and employed bailiffs. The PT worker was so dis-stressed his seizrues doubled. During one seizure in October 2023 Reul Lewis slipt into a coma and died. I would send these people to prison if i could.

I have nothing but good to say about this company, I dealt with Lewis and Curtis who were both professional, friendly and very helpful. Both were willing to go over salient points numerous times and were very patient with me. In light of the upcoming energy prices hike I felt that both Lewis and Curtis had my (company) best interests at heart and did their upmost to get me a good deal. Would highly recommend this company. 9/10

I've just met with John Jones and Danny Douglas from Direct Business Solutions, which was a breath of fresh air actually meeting with them in person as opposed to dealing with utility companies via the phone. They were extremely informative, honest, transparent and helpful regarding my gas and electricity supplies. They provided me with a full bill validation service and managed to sort out my new agreements with no hassle what so ever. I also dealt with Wayne Forrest who was again very informative, helpful and transparent. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend to any business.

Don dealt with our renewal of our electricity supply, he was extremely helpful, easy to deal with and nothing was to much trouble. He also noticed we been over paying VAT with our previous supplier and managed to get us a large rebate, which was much appreciated. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to change supplier.

Pleased with the way this company operates. Initial phone call followed by an email explaining how they could help get the best gas/electric contracts but not pushy in any way. After receiving my new energy contract proposals I contacted the company and was helped by very nice chap called Scott Griffiths.Fast efficient service with no problems, he dealt with everything and all contracts were signed online.I would highly recommend this company and especially Scott! Thank you.

I have always found Curtis Wright to be very helpful. Last year he enabled our organisation, which is a charity, to get big refunds on the Climate Change Levy fees which we had paid to our gas supplier, as we did not know we were eligible for a reduction, being a charity. This was a huge bonus for us. I would thoroughly recommend him to any small business which needs advice in relation to utility supply, saving money etc.

Our account manager Dale Jones took all the stress and back and forth out of our contract negotiations with our utility suppliers. Open and transparent and absolutely 100% trust that we have received the very best deal available on the market, and we will continue be looked after in the future. Personally I am too busy and this was a much needed service from a grateful client.
