I wouldnt hesistate to recommend Harley at MC&R to anyone. He is very kind professional and reassuring often going above and beyond. The work is always carried out very well, quickly and always to the quote. Great service and i am very happy to have found them!

We had ongoing issues with our loft and roof with a leak into the bedroom. Harley gave us a very reasonable quote and got the work done quickly for us. Unfortunately the roof continued to leak with heavy rain, but Harley came back out very promptly and gave us options to get it fixed and rectified the issue without further charge. Would certainly recommend him if you want a professional roofer to get the work done quickly and efficiently. Would call again.

We recently moved into our property, and a few weeks prior to moving in, our neighbours used MC&R to install a brand new roof on their garage, which joins into the side of our garage. When we moved in we noticed a crack in the roof all the way along the joining edge of our garages. It looked like it had been repaired with resin which lets sunlight through now, not a major issue, but the repair hasn’t been done sufficiently and it leaks in places. Not happy with the install and damage to my roof, I spoke to them, which they weren’t really helpful, apologetic, and didn’t seem to want to put anything right. I’ve had to try to go through their insurance but it is turning out to be a complete nightmare.Sceptical now of cowboy tradesmen, I’ve been reading reviews and trying to get hold of reputable companies, but they are far and few between. I’ve had 2 companies out so far to quote, and both have been shocked by the install of our neighbours roof, one saying that the wrong material has been used as there is not enough of a pitch for water to run off, and both said straight away that they can see that the damage has been done by the install team trying to match the height and different profile of our roof, as ours sits higher. So instead of installing a strip to run all the way along our joining panels which can be easily removed to repair either side, they have bent ours down, which has caused the crack, bonded our panels to the neighbours, which now can’t be removed without damaging both sides and then tried to repair the crack in our roof. I have had one of the companies who came out to quote refuse to quote due to the job MC&R did next door, and the other hasn’t replied, and won’t return my calls.So to summarise, I’ve just moved into a new home, with a leaking garage roof cause by a poor install of next doors roof. The join of our roof, and our neighbours roof is now bonded together and won’t come apart without damaging the panels, so I’ll have to replace half of their roof too. And to top it off, no one wants to replace our roof due to the state of the install MC&R did next door.

Rob turned out very quickly to give us a quote for our roof damage, agreed a date for repair, attended and carried out the job to our complete satisfaction. Left the area very tidy and removed the rubble. Can't praise Rob and his workmate enough, absolutely first class service. Very professional. Thank you.

Rob's company did some work on our neighbours property, and it had unfortunately caused (or exposed) a problem on our side of the chimney.I contacted Rob and he came round promptly to check it out, and then got it scheduled in and it's now been all fixed, free of charge, with no issues.It could have been very different, so I can recommend Rob as being trustworthy and honest.

Best of three quotes by a long way. Can't fault the service, friendly, on time, no mess and resolved our problem very quickly. Repaired the valley in our mid terrace roof, neat and tidy work and couldn't recommend them enough! Thanks.

This is the second job I have used Rob for. He is a lovely, friendly, honest and helpful man, I trust him to do the best for me. He replaced a valley in my roof so now I have no more leaks. His team came to do the work then Rob came to check that all was OK. Highly recommend.

Rob did some work on my guttering which has failed and is still leaking. He has not replied to my calls or emails. Unfortunately I am unable to upload photos but they are shocking However Harley has gone above and beyond what needed to be done to fix the guttering and the water is now running freely. He is certainly smieone I would trust to keep to his word

We had an urgent and dangerous internal leak which was very difficult to diagnose... Rob arrived promptly and did a thorough assessment. In the end it turned out to be a plumbing problem, which was what he thought but we quickly decided to have his friendly and efficient team repair the adjacent roof's damaged liner and some broken roof tiles, a repair we had been putting off for twenty years! The leak has now also been fully sorted and we are very grateful to and highly recommend this local company for their professional and reasonably priced work.

We used this company a couple of years ago as we had a leak in the roof and this was repaired. We noticed a small leak in the same place as before this year so called up asking for the roof to be checked so we could find out what was causing the leak and get this fixed. We were told on the phone someone would call back to arrange a time but nobody called back. We sent several messages and called a number of times but each time we were ignored. We had to use a different company eventually to repair.
