I had a wonderful time at smyths today thanks to a young lady by the name of umeh. She was very helpful and accommodating to all my inquiries. I did find that a bearded man at their games counter wasn’t as helpful but thanks to umeh I would definitely rate smyths 5 stars.

Worst experience of my life. Store manager Summit is rude person. Not sure who made him a shift runner. I saw one other person in the reviews complained about it but I think Smyth toys doesn’t care about their customers anymore.Smyth toys, hiring staff with cheap/rude attitude will only bring you bad revenue and less customers.I planned not to buy anything from this brand anymore. Here you go. One less customer for life.People why even we need to bother to buy from this brand when brands like Amazon, Argos, curry’s provide full customer satisfaction and high quality customer experience.

Amazing customer service! I brought in a balance bike that I couldn’t assembly and they offered to help straight away. They assembled it for me and I could see how helpful both members of staff were for all customers. They have great knowledge of the store and I am really pleased with their customer service and support. Thank you Spencer and Bradley!

I went at the end of November and spent over 3 hours shopping. When I get to the counter they say I won’t be able to return anything because I’m buying so much and they also say that I can’t buy multiple units of the same product. It was disgusting service. I was about to leave having spent £400+ but I was so disgusted by the bald managers attitude that I didn’t buy a thing. Won’t be going ever again.

Genuinely shocked at how good the customer service was here. The lady on the till, and the store manager were brilliant. The manager, I think his name was Sumit maybe? Apologies if it wasn’t - either way, he was brilliant and really, really helpful with my purchase of a wooden cubby house.

Absolutely WORST CUSTOMER SERVICEEven though i am a regular customer, their customer service has gone downhill significantly. Some of the recent issues:1. Bought a fire engine for my kid, turned out faulty, took it back the same day and its been 7 days since i heard from them. Upon calling, they said still have not had a chance to look at it. Also dont want to comment on when will they be able to test?! Its a joke! I have spent money and now faulty toy is sitting with them with no resolution in sight.2. Bought a bike for my 3 year old. I was told its very simple to assemble and advised by the store staff to take it home to assemble as they were very busy and it would take 2 days for them to assemble the bike. Took it home, opened it and we noticed scratches on some parts. Took it back to the store where store manager Sumit refused to return it and in fact kept mentioning i shouldnt have taken it home which was exactly opposite of what his staff told me. This manager is setting just a wrong culture.This is a worst Smyth store and its such a shame that Smyth don't care about their customer service anymore. Absolutely horrible. Even if you really don't have an alternative, still don't go to this particular smyth store.

Customer service at this store is absolutely shocking particularly off the assistant manager who goes by the name of Rebecca,staff are extremely rude and infact spoke over me shouting the whole time when I requested a refund for a swing set frame which I purchased yesterday and wanted to return not even 24 hours after purchase due to their staff missinforming me and selling me two products which do not go together !So I have since made a formal complaint but in the mean time I'm out of pocket and stuck with a swingset and a tent swing which do not work in conjunction with eachother and have been refused a refund off the store manager as they want to find /or prove the member of staff who miss sold me the item ! (Asking if I knew his name ) to which I replied check ur staff shift rota at the time of purchase ,( why am I doing the legwork for you )It seems smyths will come up with any excuse to not give a refund and are beating around the Bush looking for numerous loop holes out of the situation!Not only did the deputy / assistant manager Rebecca hang up the phone on me midway conversation she also declined my calls to the store that followed absolutely disgusting behaviour! Will not be returning to this store again .

If you buy, you are a great customer, but if you return, you are treated like a criminal. I waited 15 minutes. based on the decision of 2 managers. finally it was found that it was 10.00 in the morning and they didn't have enough money in the cash register. I came back at 3 p.m. and was told to wait 10 minutes again. the manager hid behind the shelf and gave instructions to the cashier. when he realized that I saw him, he ostentatiously approached and counted the money. judgmental looks from all the employees. I will never buy anything there again.

A lovely Smyths Toys here in the retail park In Slough.Staff on the shop floor and the tills were very friendly and chatty.The store was very busy on Sunday afternoon that I visited, but it didn't hinder me from getting around with my pushchair and 2 years old.The store was well stocked, tidy, and well managed.Plenty of great items on sale.Good section of pushchairs and car seats at the back of the store with a staff member who knows what they are talking about when it comes to the safety aspects of the car seats.Parking onsite in large shared car park.Large store was well lit.Clean and tidy store.Garden toys on display.Console and games available here.

The refund policy is terrible !!!! The seller did not inform me about all important things about the product even though I asked him to do so. Once you open the box, you can't return it even though the product cost a lot of money. BE CAREFUL what you buy and you have to look for information on the Internet yourself because they will not help you. They only care about selling and then you have to worry. The seller is only nice when you buy, and when you want to return, they treat you like a thief. Employees, be human and have a heart, it's not your money, it's Smyth's!!!
