Ladybellegate Car Park

Very expensive, will not park there again , run down druggy carpark needles on the ground ,and broken bottles everywhere,disgusting carpark

Great location for the city centreJust as long as you can get the pay and display machine to work

Council carpark with reasonable prices. Have to be careful as it's split between two different companies. Good access to the city and quays

£60 fine even tho had car park ticket, DO NOT USE

Convenient in terms of location but only very limited spaces and prices are quite high so might not be for everyone. Parking spaces can be tight as well so watch out for that one.

Seems pricey for a place that's open air and a bit run down.One of the pay stations was non-functional.

There are 2 carparks here. 1. Gloucester City Council 2. NCPMake sure you use the GCC one as its a lot cheaper

NOTE: Ladybellegate car park is made up of one disabled row and two tarmacked non-disabled rows (bordered by a low stone wall and yellow poles). The car park beyond this (heading towards the cathedral) is an entirely separate (more expensive) car park! Don't get caught out as the signage is not clear. The pay machine for the council car park is by the fence at the entrance, opposite Blackfriars.Very convenient location as you are equal distance from the Quays/Docks and the city centre, but it's often full, especially if there is an event on at Blackfriars/the Quays, so finding a space is pure luck (there always seem to be spaces in the disabled row though). If this is full, try St Michael's Square, the NCP Blackfriars next door is very expensive and charges 24 hours.

This car park is a joke! It's right opposite an NCP car park and there's no clear way of knowing which car park you have parked in!With all the NCP branding it's easy to assume its an NCP car park, beware it's not!If you buy your ticket from the NCP machine, which is the obvious choice as its both centrally located and clearly marked in the centre of the car park, you'll end up with a ticket!The council machine, on the other hand, is hidden away in the bottom corner of the car park and is not well marked at all!This is clearly a nice little money earner for the council as half a dozen or so cars were ticketed the day we visited!Avoid at all cost!
