Gary and I had an amazing trip driving around the beautiful NC500 in ‘Rover’ for 10 days in June. Rover was really well equipped, very comfortable to stay in and great fun to drive! Neither of us had ever been ‘motorhoming’ before and now I can’t imagine holidaying in Britain any other way! Helen was very kind and helpful from the organisation stages right through to dropping us back at Inverness railway station at the end of our trip! For at least a week afterwards we often wondered where ‘Rover’ was and genuinely missed him. I can’t wait to do it all over again! We highly recommend Rover Rentals and wish Helen all the best with her great little business.

We have just returned from our first Campervan holiday with Rover Rentals in the North of Scotland. It was amazing! We quickly adjusted to driving the van and loved the views from being in a higher vehicle. The van was extremely well equipped for us and the 2 dogs with lots of thoughtful touches. We can't wait for our next trip!

We rented the Prufski motor home from Rover Rentals in May 2023 for 8 days to do the North Coast 500. Everything was first class. Helen gave us plenty of information prior to picking up the van that helped us immensely in planning our trip. The motorhome was extremely well laid out with a comfortable fixed bed at the back. There was lots of storage to put our belongings, and dog-friendly additions such as a spike to fix leads to while parked up, a portable barrier for the dogs and even a tick remover! We had clear how-to guides and videos on how to operate the van’s equipment. And even a NC500 map laminated to the table to help us plan our travels. If you are looking for a dog-friendly motorhome to rent near Inverness then we and our dogs highly recommend Rover Rentals.

Absolutely first class service from Helen Morgan at Rover Rentals, from initial contact through collection and return of the motorhome Helen was a pleasure to deal with. A fully equipped, pet friendly motorhome with unlimited mileage including online videos, a full instruction manual and handy notes around the vehicle on how to operate all the equipment. A small family business providing an exceptional, professional service - we have no hesitation recommending Rover Rentals.

We hired Prufski (renamed Gerty by Keith!) and travelled the NC500 and down to Fort William for 10 days. While she is an older girl, everything was in good working order, extremely clean and with comfy seats and bed. She served us well and had everything in her that was necessary to make our holiday perfect.

We have had the most amazing trip around Scotland using Rover Rentals. We rented Rover for a seven night stay and Helen was superb to deal with. Communication was great and all instructions for use were really clear. We used the Park4Night app and managed to wildcamp every night. The Motorhome had everything that we needed to avoid campsites and visit some of Scotlands most beautiful areas. Although a large vehicle and taking sometime to get use to driving, the van was easy to drive (just remembering it’s bigger than what we’re normally use to). We travelled about 800 miles covering part of the North Coast 500 route, we stopped in some amazing locations including (in order) Inverness to Durness, Durness to Loch Gleendubh, onward to Ullapool down to Redpoint onward to Isle of Skye and then into Ben Nevis and finally Loch Ness before returning to Inverness. We were surprised with how comfortable and enjoyable it was using the Motorhome to travel, being new to this we didn’t know what to expect but we had hot water for the shower each morning, heating in the evening, all electrics throughout the night to charge phones, lights and listen to music through the radio as well as being able to cook great food with a gas oven, hob and fridge! We really miss it now returning home and would recommend it to all family and friends. It’s so easy to fly into Edinburgh/Inverness or take the train as we did. Helen offers for you to park your car on her drive so there are so many options for you to consider for your trip. We were kindly collected and dropped off at the train station by Helen. I could not recommend doing this trip enough to everyone, it was relaxing and as we both live busy lives just the right balance for a quiet option for a holiday. Using Rover Rentals was great and I’d recommend booking with these guys over the main dealers as you get a great service, price and friendly touches. Enjoy your trip to the Highlands! Casper and Rox

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday in the rover camper! Honestly so sad it ended, very keen to book a longer trip next time. The camper itself is so comfy and cosy inside, with complete amenities, and the ability to run heating/fridge/water on gas at an unpowered site. We travelled throughout the Isle of Skye for a week, sleeping in some absolutely surreal landscapes all while cosy and warm. Heaps of storage, really smart layout, nice wood and velvet finishings, spacious - perfect really. To drive it definitely needs a bit of getting used to when driving on single lane substandard roads with passing spots, but it's definitely doable! We are already looking forward to the next time we can travel to Scotland and book a longer trip in the camper!

After our own campervan had a mechanical breakdown in Schotland we were really lucky to came across Rover rentals in Inverness. After a few phone calls with Helen we could rent her Camper van for the rest of our trip. The camper was really good equipped so we only had to bring some groceries. Heleen was really friendly and showed us the operation of the camper. After that we rode up north and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Schotland. We really liked this camper and It was easy to drive!Arjan & Annelies
