Good service, Mathew at the counter was very friendly

Went to buy something that was on promotional offer. It came up at normal price and told me they couldn't honor because the promotion had gone past the date. Even though the promotional label was still on the shelf. This has happened plenty of times. Even a box of ready brek had an offer amount on the box but it came up more at the till and the women said she couldn't do anything about it.Then there is the deliveries all over the floor. You can't get a pram, wheelchair or motorbility scooter in there.

Got my first job here, and am grateful for the owner giving me a chance start my work experience.

Lovely staff

I bought two for £2 milk in the plastic containers. The staff were very nice and friendly, I left and got to the bus stop. Unfortunately, while sitting awaiting the bus I noticed that the milk was leaking. I had left a little trail, like Hansel and Gretel. By the time I noticed it the bus was due in a few minutes. I took the milk out of my bag. Both cartons were leaking from the bottom. Then the bus arrived. The driver didn't want me to take the milk on board. He suggested that I turn them upside down. Both leaked from the top. I tightened the tops, but they kept leaking. The driver gave me some tissues etc. When I got home. Both cartons were half full and also the pringles boxes that I had bought, were soggy. There is no phone number listed on the site to ring and tell them. Also, as I did not get the receipt and it was not offered. I don't know if they will give me a replacement or refund. So disappointing. Next time I pass, I will let them know.

The owner is a very dishonest Asian man. He asked me to do some work in this shop, promised to pay but never paid and made excuses.I urge all builders and handymen to be careful of this man. He is good in the beginning and when it comes to payment time, he becomes totally different guy!
