The White Hart
We had Sunday lunch there. We were seated in the bar just in front of a wood burner. The service was very friendly and the food prices very reasonable (IIRC £4 for a starter £8 for a main - choice of roasts: beef, gammon and chicken). Overall a nice enjoyable pub lunch at a very reasonable price.

The bar is very much a 'local', being cosy and friendly. There is now a cafe in a very pleasant room behind the bar.This is currently open from 0900 to 1500.It seves very good snacks and light meals, including breakfast at very reasonable prices, with a special deal for each day of the week.

The White Hart
Stayed overnight on a cycle tour. Nice little pub with friendly staff and clientele. Though the kitchen was closed for evening food, the freshly prepared breakfast was very good. Room in an accommodation block off a small courtyard was small but had all we needed.

Seriously good steak, cooked just as I like it, with big, crunchy chips and all the trimmings, for a very reasonable price. A lovely old, well run pub, with friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere.

The White Hart
The White Hart has changed hands many times, since I've known the place (3+yrs). However I was pleased to note this time on visiting, the atmosphere was more family and dog friendly, had lots of people in for drinks, food and a chatting. The food was standard pub grub. (Gammon egg, chips) the service was very friendly too. I'm not a fan of TV's in pubs I was happy to note there wasn't one obvious, and the music wasn't too loud either another bonus!

Great pub with great accommodation, had a very pleasant stay ,landlord was very helpful and a brilliant host. Recommending local places to eat. Guinness on top form.

Plenty of Covid safe space in the walled garden with picnic benches. Freindly staff and good beer. Function room for hire. Good atmosphere in the bar.

Nice overall little pub decent rooms too stayed overnight as working in the area great army planes going over all the time as brise norton is close

They appreciate their regulars if you drink there long enough you may get a pub dog named after you.
