Priory Street Centre

Attended the CVS Hall for a meeting. When I arrived at the centre and went to reception, it wasn't been manned. Staff walked by and didn't acknowledge me. It did not feel like a friendly space. After waiting in reception for 15 minutes I decided to go back outside and try and find the hall which I did.It is a generous size with large round tables. I was encouraged by the meeting host to help myself to a hot drink from the kitchen. I was pleasantly surprised how well it was stocked with a range of teas and coffee. There was a good choice of biscuits too.There were a few technical issues getting the presentation to broadcast on the large screen but once centre staff had sorted it there were no further issues.The toilets were clean. There is wheelchair accessible parking and access. Normal parking is an issue around the centre. I parked in Nunnery Lane car park and then it's just a short walk. The hall is suitable for large groups.

Went to a very interesting meeting here. Twas clean and tidy with mod cons for lectures and good seating.

I booked the Priory Street Centre for a training event for our organisation and was very impressed with the rooms and staff who were extremely helpful on the day. The booking process was easy and the it is excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend the PSC as a meeting venue in York.

I have been to this place many times and I always found it very good. The staff that work there are very nice.
