Barchester - Lawton Manor Care Home

I cannot praise Lawton Manor Care Home enough. The care my mum received in her final months was of the highest quality. All of the staff are amazing and nothing was too much trouble. My mum was treated with dignity and compassion and I will always be grateful x

I can not fault any staff... From kitchen to care.Beautiful clean and friendly.Entertainment is wonderful with trips and activities a plenty.My grandparent is having a wonderful stay.

I had the pleasure of singing for the Residents at this great Care Home recently and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive to the Residents needs and the Residents themselves were both a joy to sing for and to talk to, as I was packing away. They asked me if I would go back to sing for them again and I am pleased to say that I have been re-booked to return in October. I am already looking forward to it very much.

A lovely atmosphere at Lawton Manor and it feels very welcoming as soon as you enter the building. Staff are very nice and caring and as an entertainer there I always enjoy my concerts there, the residents are wonderful!

Fantastic home my Nan had a lovely time on her recent respite stay. The food was fantastic and she enjoyed a lovely day out with the activity girls all her care was 5 star

I was booked by Lawton Manor recently, as a professional singer to go & sing some musical theatre songs and 50’s /60’s music. It was the first time I’d visited but the staff all made me feel very welcome. Their passion to keep the residents happy & stimulated was very apparent. The home itself is beautiful… more like a 5* hotel than a care home. I hope to see them all again soon.

I have a chronic muscle disease and live at home independently. But there are times when my condition fluctuates and I need care for a period to regain my confidence and strength. It is at these times I turn to Lawton Manor for help. I have stayed there four times in the last two years. They really care about the people they look after, nothing is too much trouble. I am always welcome and confident that my care will be excellent and that I will improve. They have become my trusted refuge. And the food is excellent!

I'm a musician who regularly performs in care homes and I love this one! The atmosphere is great and the staff really help to encourage the residents and help them really enjoy the music.

Our Aunt lived independently at home with a care package until the pandemic. She spoke to the family and made the decision it was time to look for a care home. I was given the task of looking for somewhere and Lawton Manor was recommended to me by a friend.From the first telephone call it was very apparent that this would be a lovely home for our Aunt. The staff were very helpful and and reassuring. We had a very safe show around the home.My Aunt has been resident for a few months now and is very happy and settled. She tells us the food is lovely and that the activities she enjoys very much.Barchester have kept us up to date by letter with all the changes etc. Thank you to the management and staff for doing a fabulous job, keep up the good work especially during these trying times.

Lovely care home, my gran stayed here for respite back in the summer and was very well cared for. Staff are friendly and couldn’t be more helpful and supportive.
